De Historic Series biedt authentieke stijl, en lijkt tot in detail op die zeer gewilde prewar instrumenten. De BR-163 met een comfortabele 000 body is niet alleen een fijne gitaar om op te spelen, maar de ultieme fingerstyle gitaar voor dit geld. Gemaakt met een massief sparren bovenblad, met de hand gevormde X-bracing, massieve palissander klankkast, herringbone top trim en een traditionele dovetail neck joint.
