Het merk uit Austin, Texas, dat zich al meerdere malen heeft bewezen als meester gitaarbouwer op bijna elk vlak. Uitzonderlijke flattops, geweldige mandolines en uitzinnige elektrische gitaren, allemaal voortgekomen uit liefde, passie en vakmanschap.
Collings' I35 Semi-Hollowbody is een van deze instrumenten en eerlijk gezegd leken de standaard van Collings zijn I35's al uitzonderlijk, totdat we de eerste mock-ups van deze LC te zien kregen!
Voor deze I35 LC is werkelijk alles opnieuw ontworpen en vanaf de grond opgebouwd. Vanaf de constructie van het gelamineerde esdoorn, het nieuwe centerblock en de hals waarbij rekening is gehouden met de nerf, gewicht en dichtheid. Dat is hoe ver Collings gaat voor zijn instrumenten!
De diepe, resonante, akoestische klank wordt tot leven gebracht door de Custom Throbak pickups en DiMarzio 500k potmeters met Bumblebee condensatoren, waardoor hij nog veelzijdiger wordt! Hoewel hij er dus uit ziet als een wel beproefde vintage Semi-Hollow, onthult deze Collings bij nadere beschouwing dat zijn kracht zelfs nog veel verder reikt dan alleen zijn uiterlijk.Deze Deluxe uitvoering biedt daarnaast de luxe van een custom rose inlay op de headstock en Grained Ivoroid op de bindings, pickup covers, tuners en zelfs de tone/volume knobs!
Hij wordt geleverd in een hardshell koffer met TFOA-paspoort.

Collings' I35 Semi-Hollowbody is one of these instruments, and honestly, Collings’ standard I35s already seemed exceptional, until we saw the first mock-ups of this LC!
For this I35 LC, everything has truly been redesigned and rebuilt from the ground up. From the construction of the laminated maple, the new centerblock, and the neck, with careful attention to the grain, weight, and density. That's how far Collings goes for its instruments!
The deep, resonant, acoustic tone comes to life with the Custom Throbak pickups and DiMarzio 500k pots with Bumblebee capacitors, making it even more versatile! While it looks like a tried-and-true vintage Semi-Hollow, this Collings reveals upon closer inspection that its power goes far beyond just its appearance. This Deluxe version also offers the luxury of a custom rose inlay on the headstock and Grained Ivoroid on the bindings, pickup covers, tuners, and even the tone/volume knobs!
It comes with a hardshell case and TFOA passport.

Die Collings I35 Semi-Hollowbody ist eines dieser Instrumente, und ehrlich gesagt, schienen die Standard-I35s von Collings bereits außergewöhnlich zu sein, bis wir die ersten Mock-ups dieser LC gesehen haben!
Für diese I35 LC wurde wirklich alles neu entworfen und von Grund auf neu aufgebaut. Von der Konstruktion des laminierten Ahorns, dem neuen Centerblock und dem Hals, bei dem auf die Maserung, das Gewicht und die Dichte geachtet wurde. So weit geht Collings für seine Instrumente!
Der tiefe, resonante, akustische Klang wird durch die Custom Throbak Pickups und DiMarzio 500k Potentiometer mit Bumblebee-Kondensatoren zum Leben erweckt, wodurch er noch vielseitiger wird! Obwohl er wie eine bewährte Vintage Semi-Hollow aussieht, zeigt dieses Collings bei näherer Betrachtung, dass seine Kraft weit über nur sein Aussehen hinausgeht. Diese Deluxe-Ausführung bietet zudem den Luxus einer Custom-Rose-Inlay auf dem Kopfstück sowie Grained Ivoroid an den Binding, Pickup-Covern, Tunern und sogar den Tone-/Volume-Knobs!
Er wird mit einem Hardshell-Koffer und TFOA-Passport geliefert.
