De SJ-200 wordt gebruikt door iedereen, van Hollywood-cowboys tot folkartiesten, van countrysupersterren tot rockgrootheden. Dankzij zijn formaat, hoogwaardige geluidskwaliteit, uitzonderlijke projectie en indrukwekkende podiumprésence kreeg hij al snel de bijnaam ‘King of the Flat-Tops’.
Nu brengt Gibson Custom een getrouwe reproductie van deze majestueuze vintage Super Jumbo-modellen op de markt. Gevlamd esdoorn achterblad en zijkanten, een thermisch verouderd Sitka sparren bovenblad voor een heldere en droge klank, en een esdoorn hals met hun Round profiel voor optimaal speelcomfort. Hij beschikt ook over de Light Aging van de bekwame ambachtslieden van Gibson's Murphy Lab. Hij heeft dus ook het uiterlijk en het gevoel van een geliefd vintage exemplaar.
We installeren graag een pickup voor je, maar niet omdat deze gitaar dat nodig heeft! Met zijn jumbo-formaat body levert hij een volle en luide klank, waardoor hij perfect is voor flatpicking en strumming.

The SJ-200 has been used by everyone from Hollywood cowboys to folk artists, country superstars to rock royalty. Due to its size, high-quality sound, exceptional projection and commanding stage presence, it quickly earned the moniker 'King of the Flat-Tops'.
Now, Gibson Custom is bringing a faithful recreation of these majestic vintage Super Jumbo models. Flamed maple back and sides, a thermally aged Sitka spruce top for a clear and bright tone, and a maple neck with their Round profile for optimal playing comfort. It also features the Light Aging from the skilled artisans of Gibson's Murphy Lab. So it also has the look and feel of a well-loved vintage example.
We happily install a pickup for you, but not because this guitar needs it! With its jumbo-sized body it delivers a full and loud tone which makes it perfect for flatpicking and strumming.
Comes in a period correct case with certificate of authenticity.
