Nu is ook de populaire E8OM voorzien van deze indrukwekkende 'Thermo Cured' behandelingsmethode. De E8OM van Eastman is op zich al een indrukwekkende gitaar, met een klankkast vervaardigd uit massieve palissander en een massieve Sitka sparren top.
Eastman voorziet het bovenblad van hun 'Thermo Cured' behandeling. Dit zorgt ervoor dat het hout is blootgesteld aan hitte en druk, waardoor het een groot deel van zijn vocht al verloren heeft aan dit proces. Het resultaat is een gitaar met een ingespeeld karakter, met de klank-kwaliteiten een ouder vintage instrument.
Naast deze speciale behandeling is de E8OM ook voorzien van een sierlijke binding met herringbone purfling, een ebben toets en brug, en een mahonie hals met Eastman's traditionele 'C' profiel.

Eastman provides the top with their 'Thermo Cured' treatment. This ensures that the wood is exposed to heat and pressure, so that it has already lost much of its moisture to this process. The result is a guitar with a played-in character, with the sound qualities of an older vintage instrument.
In addition to this special treatment, the E8OM also features a graceful herringbone purfling, an ebony fingerboard and bridge and a mahogany neck with Eastman's traditional 'C' profile.
