Collings 042 T 12 Fret Traditional Sitka Spruce Indian Rosewood Sunburst
Deze 042 12-fret met Sunburst finish heeft een gebalanceerde en volle toon met een prominent aanwezige bas en volume. De comfortabele mensuur van 632 millimeter met lagere snaarspanning en zijn kleine body maken dit model zeer geschikt voor diverse speelstijlen en genres. Gitaren met een kleine body zoals deze, worden zeer gewaardeerd om hun projectie en blinken uit als opname-instrumenten.
De abalone purfling en rozet en ivoroid body bindingen accentueren het met de hand geselecteerde toonhout en de snaarstrakke glanzende finish, en zijn zoals we gewend zijn van Collings onberispelijk afgewerkt. De hals is ook rijkelijk versierd met een abalone Snowflake inleg op de toets en een een Torch inleg headstock waardoor het ebben prachtig tot zijn recht komt. Een ivoroid binding zorgt ook hier voor een mooi contrast, terwijl de goudkleurige Waverly-stemmechanieken zowel decoratief als functioneel tot de absolute top behoren.
Deze 042 is een fantastisch instrument om te bespelen dankzij het solide, maar ergonomisch gevormde Modified V-halsprofiel en de compound radius in de toets, waardoor deze Collings over de hele lengte van de hals soepel en comfortabel te bespelen is. De brede topkam en wijde string spacing maken de gitaar tot een uitstekende keuze voor de fingerstyle-gitarist!
De Traditional Series van Collings vertegenwoordigt een vintage geïnspireerde klankvariatie op het kenmerkende Collings-geluid. De gitaren onderscheiden zich door een lichtgewicht constructie waarbij met de hand geselecteerd klankhout op gewicht en resonantie wordt geselecteerd, om vervolgens met de hand tot een krachtig, gebalanceerd en helder instrument te worden vervaardigd. De aanpassingen van onder andere de bracing en verstelbare T-bar halspen dragen daarnaast bij aan de warme, afgeronde hoge tonen, de nadrukkelijk aanwezige middentonen en de open klank, niet in de laatste plaats door de ultra-dunne nitrocellulose laklaag die de gitaar optimaal laat vibreren.
De gebruikte materialen voldoen aan de hoogste standaard en de afwerking zal de liefhebber doen watertanden. Het is niet voor niets dat deze gitaren niet lang in onze winkel blijven; als je er eenmaal een Collings hebt bespeeld wil je niets anders meer!
This 042 12-fret model with a sunburst finish has a balanced and full tone with prominent bass and volume. The comfortable 632-millimeter scale length with lower string tension and its small body make this model well-suited for various playing styles and genres. The Collings Traditional Series represents a vintage-inspired tonal variation on the signature Collings sound. These guitars are distinguished by a lightweight construction where tonewoods are hand-selected for weight and resonance, then hand-crafted into a powerful, balanced, and clear instrument. Adjustments to the bracing and adjustable T-bar truss rod, among other things, also contribute to the warm, rounded highs, the emphatic midrange, and the open tone, not least thanks to the ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish that allows the guitar to vibrate optimally.
The materials used meet the highest standards, and the finish will delight any enthusiast. It's no wonder these guitars don't stay in our shop for long; once you've played a Collings, you won't want anything else!
Dieses 042-Modell mit 12 Bünden und Sunburst-Finish besticht durch einen ausgewogenen, vollen Klang mit ausgeprägten Bässen und hoher Lautstärke. Die komfortable Mensur von 632 Millimetern, die geringe Saitenspannung und der kompakte Korpus machen dieses Modell ideal für verschiedene Spielstile und Genres.
