Collings MT2 Mandolin

Collings uit Austin, Texas heeft zich de afgelopen decennia bewezen als meester in het bouwen van snaarinstrumenten van het allerhoogste niveau. De MT2 is Collings' A-style mandoline, een klassiek ontwerp dat zijn oorsprong vindt in de vroege 20e eeuw maar door Collings wordt gebouwd met moderne precisie en oog voor detail. Het resultaat is een instrument dat zowel bluegrass puristen als veelzijdige spelers aanspreekt door zijn uitstekende projectie, helderheid en speelgemak.

Deze MT2 beschikt over een klankkast van gevlamd esdoorn gecombineerd met een Adirondack sparren bovenblad, een combinatie die zorgt voor een heldere, gearticuleerde toon met uitstekende projectie en sustain. De compound radius ebben toets (5.5" tot 11.6") biedt optimaal speelcomfort over de gehele hals, terwijl het Rounded V-halsprofiel van gevlamd esdoorn perfect in de hand ligt. 

De Gotoh open gear stemmechanieken garanderen stabiele stemming, en de ivoroid binding met multi-line purfling geeft de mandoline een tijdloze, verfijnde uitstraling.
