In the 1960s, Fender introduced a series of "custom colors" to their range of colors. These shades were inspired by the automotive industry, with the pink DeSoto road cruiser serving as the inspiration for the now famous Shell Pink finish.

Shell Pink was de meest unieke kleur uit de "Custom Colour Range" en was alleen beschikbaar van 1960 tot 1963. Nu heeft de Fender Custom Shop deze kleur volledig teruggebracht in een limited edition Super Faded Shell Pink Finish.
De elzenhouten body is voorzien van een esdoorn hals met een palissander toets en een 9.5 inch radius. De hals heeft een 60's ovaal C-profiel. De verfijnd verouderde finish geeft de gitaar een doorleefde look en een ingespeeld gevoel. Zoals elke Custom Shop is ook deze Stratocaster uitgerust met hoogwaardige pickups, namelijk de handwound Texas Special pickups.
Deze 2020 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster verkeert in excellente staat. De verouderde finish heeft lichte speelsporen opgelopen, maar het is bij relic-gitaren uiteraard altijd lastig waar de relic eindigt en de speelsporen beginnen. De gitaar is in elk geval zeer schoon en wordt met echtheidscertificaat geleverd in de originele Fender-koffer, inclusief polish doek.

The alder body features a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and a 9.5-inch radius. The neck has a 60's oval C profile. The refined aged finish gives the guitar a lived-in look and feel. Like every Custom Shop, this Stratocaster is equipped with high-quality pickups, namely handwound Texas Special pickups.
This 2020 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster is in excellent condition. The aged finish has sustained light play marks, but of course with relic guitars it is always tricky where the relic ends and the play marks begin. In any case, the guitar is very clean and comes with certificate of authenticity in the original Fender case, including polish cloth.

Diese 2020 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster ist in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand. Das gealterte Finish hat leichte Spielspuren, aber natürlich ist es bei Reliktgitarren immer schwierig, wo das Relikt aufhört und die Spielspuren beginnen. Auf jeden Fall ist die Gitarre sehr sauber und kommt mit Echtheitszertifikat im original Fender Koffer, inklusive Poliertuch.
