De gitaren uit deze serie worden geheel volgens de specificaties van Bourgeois gebouwd in China, waarbij het team uit Lewiston voor de begeleiding van het gehele proces zorgt. Bourgeois kan hierdoor zijn kenmerkende balans, dynamisch bereik en responsiviteit aan meer gitaristen dan ooit aanbieden, want de prijzen van deze gitaren zijn bijzonder scherp.
Deze prachtige GAC is onderdeel van de Down East Launch Edition, en voor deze serie heeft Dana Bourgeois hoogstpersoonlijk de eerste 125 exemplaren op zijn zo iconische wijze met de hand gevoiced. Bourgeois zet hiermee de standaard voor de sound van de serie, en als we deze GAC goed beluisteren weten we zeker dat het daarmee wel goed zit! De GAC is zoals de naam al verraad een Grand Auditorium met Cutaway, en is een bijzonder veelzijdig model uit de line-up van Bourgeois.
Voor zowel de klankkast als het bovenblad heeft Bourgeois gebruikgemaakt van het prachtig klinkende én uitziende Koa, resulterend in een gitaar die er niet alleen mooi uitziet, maar ook geweldig klinkt. Het koa zorgt voor een warme en gebalanceerde sound met een prachtige helderheid. Ook voor de overige details heeft Bourgeois kosten noch moeite gespaard, want zowel de brug als toets zijn gemaakt van ziricote, met daarbij een headstock overlay van ebben.
De gitaar wordt met echtheidscertificaat geleverd in een koffer.

Bourgeois used Koa for both the back and sides, resulting in a guitar that not only looks beautiful but also sounds fantastic. The koa provides a warm and balanced sound with beautiful clarity. Bourgeois spared no expense on the other details either, with both the bridge and fingerboard made of ziricote, featuring an ebony headstock overlay.
The guitar comes in a hardshell case with a certificate of authenticity.

Bourgeois verwendete Koa für Boden und Zargen, wodurch eine Gitarre entstand, die nicht nur wunderschön aussieht, sondern auch fantastisch klingt. Das Koa sorgt für einen warmen und ausgewogenen Klang mit schöner Klarheit. Auch bei den übrigen Details wurde von Bourgeois nicht gespart: Steg und Griffbrett sind aus Zirikote gefertigt, die Kopfplatte ziert ein Ebenholzfurnier.
Die Gitarre wird in einem Hartschalenkoffer mit Echtheitszertifikat geliefert.
