The iconic Höfner Violin Bass was of course made famous by none other than Paul McCartney of the Beatles and is the most famous instrument made by Höfner. Although there are several reincarnations of the instrument introduced in 1956, the 500/1 62 is truly a replica of the bass that Paul McCartney played.

Deze Höfner heeft een body van prachtig gevlamd esdoorn, met een sparren top en de iconische 'Staple' pickups, bediend door een volume en tone knop en de typische schakelaars. De gevlamde esdoorn hals heeft een ebben toets met parelmoer inleg en een 'zero fret'. Het geluid is zoals alleen een Höfner bas kan klinken met zijn korte mensuur, flatwound snaren en 'hollowbody'.
Deze Höfner 500/1 is in 2016 gebouwd door Thomas Stühlein, die ook het meegeleverde certificaat heeft ondertekend. De bas heeft enkele dings op het bovenblad, en de binding van de body is licht gekrompen. Dit is vooral zichtbaar op de punten van de inkepingen van de body, net als op de punten nabij de hiel. Op de punt van de headstock bevindt zich een ding, maar verder is de bas bijzonder schoon.
Wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer.
This Höfner has a body of beautiful flamed maple, with a spruce top and the iconic 'Staple' pickups, operated by a volume and tone knob and the typical switches. The flamed maple neck has an ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl inlays and a 'zero fret'. The sound is as only a Höfner bass can sound with its short scale, flatwound strings and 'hollowbody'.
This Höfner 500/1 was built in 2016 by Thomas Stühlein, who also signed the included certificate. The bass has a few dings on the top, and the body binding has shrunk slightly. This is most noticeable at the points of the body notches, as well as the points near the heel. There is a ding on the tip of the headstock, but otherwise the bass is very clean.
Comes with TFOA passport in a hardshell case.
Dieser Höfner hat einen Korpus aus wunderschönem geflammtem Ahorn mit Fichtendecke und den legendären „Staple“-Tonabnehmern, die über einen Lautstärke- und Klangregler sowie die typischen Schalter gesteuert werden. Der Hals aus geflammtem Ahorn hat ein Griffbrett aus Ebenholz mit Perlmutt-Intarsien und einem Nullbund. Der Klang ist so, wie ihn nur ein Höfner-Bass mit seiner kurzen Mensur, den Flatwound-Saiten und dem Hohlkörper erzeugen kann.
Dieser Höfner 500/1 wurde 2016 von Thomas Stühlein gebaut, der auch das beiliegende Zertifikat unterzeichnet hat. Der Bass weist einige Dellen an der Decke auf, und die Korpus-Binding ist leicht geschrumpft. Dies ist am deutlichsten an den Kerben des Korpus sowie in der Nähe des Fußes zu erkennen. Die Spitze der Kopfplatte weist eine Delle auf, ansonsten klingt der Bass aber sehr sauber.
Wird mit TFOA-Pass und Etui geliefert.
