Lowden O25C Indian Rosewood Red Cedar

The Original Series was the very first Lowden range from 1976, just as the ‘O’ model is George’s original Lowden body design. The Original series features understated aesthetic appointments; a five-piece wood rosette, single piece binding and three-piece purfling on the top, rosewood headstock overlay and an ebony fingerboard.

Thanks to the East Indian rosewood back and sides and cedar top, the sound is rich, full-bodied, warm and powerful, and the jumbo 'O' body size gives it complexity as well. It is great for strumming, but for flatpicking and fingerstyle as well. The neck feels very comfortable underhand and the cutaway allows you to access the whole fretboard. The O25C is an elegant, versatile but most of all beautiful instrument from Lowden.

Comes in a Lowden hardshell case with provenance and TFOA passport.
