PRS introduceerde het McCarty-model in 1994 als eerbetoon aan Ted McCarty, de legendarische president van Gibson. In 2015 kwam daar de McCarty 594 bij, met een iets langere schaal (24.594 inch) en meer klankopties. Het doel: een vintage sound creëren met de betrouwbaarheid van moderne PRS-productie.
Deze McCarty 594 is uitgevoerd met een prachtig gevlamd maple top in de opvallende kleur Eriza Verde, gecombineerd met een mahoniehouten body. De mahonie hals met Pattern Vintage profiel en palissander toets voelt direct vertrouwd aan. De kenmerkende 'Birds' inlays maken het plaatje compleet.
De 58/15 LT pickups zorgen voor rijke, warme humbucker klanken met vintage karakter. Dankzij de push/pull functie op de toonregelaars kun je ook heldere, dynamische single-coil sounds oproepen — een gitaar met een indrukwekkend breed klankspectrum.

This McCarty 594 features a stunning flamed maple top finished in the vibrant Eriza Verde, paired with a mahogany body. The Pattern Vintage neck profile, made from mahogany and topped with a rosewood fingerboard, offers a comfortable and familiar feel. Signature PRS Bird inlays complete the classic look.
Equipped with a pair of 58/15 LT pickups, this guitar delivers warm, vintage-inspired humbucker tones with clarity and depth. Thanks to the push/pull coil-splitting on the tone knobs, you can also dial in sweet, articulate single-coil sounds—making this a highly versatile instrument.
