Hoewel Martin eerder een 'slightly oversized' instrument heeft geproduceerd in de vorm van de D45S Authentic 1936, geïnspireerd op een instrument uit de C.F. Martin Museum Collection, is deze Super Dreadnought (The Super D) tegenwoordig nogsteeds de grootste body size in Martin's productlijn.
Hij heeft een intern luchtvolume dat ongeveer twintig procent groter is dan de standaard dreadnought, waardoor de bas effectief wordt versterkt terwijl de midden- en hoge tonen nauwkeurig blijven. Hij bevat ook een nieuw gepatenteerd bracing-patroon om de toon en het volume te maximaliseren. De Super D kan een groter dynamisch spectrum bereiken met meer volume en met minder inspanning dan enig ander instrument met het C.F. Martin-logo.
Standaard mensuur en standaarddiepte zorgen ervoor dat dit speciale nieuwe ontwerp gemakkelijk kan worden bespeeld door artiesten van alle niveaus en in een groot aantal muziekgenres. En met een prachtige 3-delige gevlamde koa achterkant, driekleurige herringbone-purfling en lang patroon Diamonds & Squares-inleg is het ook een echt pronkstuk!
Deze Martin uit 2023 ziet er nog enorm schoon uit en verkeert dan ook nog in excellente conditie. Hij heeft slechts minimale speelsporen opgelopen, met name op zijn slagplaat. Ook heeft ooit een neckreset gehad, waarvan wat kleine sporen zichtbaar zijn op de hieI. Inclusief een koffer met TFOA paspoort.

It has an internal air volume approximately twenty percent larger than the standard dreadnought, effectively amplifying the bass while maintaining accurate mids and highs. It also features a new patented bracing pattern to maximize tone and volume. The Super D can achieve a wider dynamic range with more volume and less effort than any other instrument bearing the C.F. Martin logo.
Standard scale length and depth ensure that this special new design can be easily played by artists of all levels and in a wide range of musical genres. And with a beautiful 3-piece flamed koa back, three-tone herringbone purfling and long pattern Diamonds & Squares inlay, it’s a real showpiece too!
This 2023 Martin still looks very clean and is therefore still in excellent condition. It has only suffered minimal playing traces, especially on its pickguard. It has also had a neck reset at some point, of which some small traces are visible on the heel. Including a case with TFOA passport.
Obwohl Martin bereits zuvor mit der D45S Authentic 1936 ein etwas überdimensioniertes Instrument produziert hatte, das von einem Instrument aus der C.F. Martin Museum Collection inspiriert war, ist diese Super Dreadnought (die Super D) nun die größte Korpusgröße in Martins Produktlinie.
Sie verfügt über ein etwa 20 Prozent größeres Luftvolumen als die Standard-Dreadnought, wodurch der Bass effektiv verstärkt und gleichzeitig präzise Mitten und Höhen erhalten bleiben. Ein neues, patentiertes Verstrebungsmuster maximiert Klang und Lautstärke. Die Super D erreicht einen größeren Dynamikumfang mit mehr Lautstärke und weniger Kraftaufwand als jedes andere Instrument mit dem C.F. Martin-Logo.
Die Standardmensur und -tiefe sorgen dafür, dass dieses besondere neue Design von Künstlern aller Niveaus und in einer Vielzahl von Musikgenres problemlos gespielt werden kann. Mit einem wunderschönen, dreiteiligen, geflammten Koa-Boden, der dreifarbigen Fischgrät-Einlage und der länglichen Diamonds & Squares-Einlage ist sie zudem ein echtes Prachtstück!
Diese Martin aus dem Jahr 2023 sieht immer noch sehr sauber aus und befindet sich daher in ausgezeichnetem Zustand. Sie weist nur minimale Spielspuren auf, insbesondere am Schlagbrett. Außerdem wurde der Hals irgendwann neu eingestellt, wovon einige kleine Spuren an der Ferse sichtbar sind. Inklusive Koffer mit TFOA-Pass.
