The HD28V is Martin's modern reinterpretation of the pre-war D28, from before 1939. The forward shifted scalloped X-bracing under the top makes it very desirable among traditionalists and bluegrass players.

De HD28V staat bekend om zijn warme, gebalanceerde klank, met krachtige bassen en sprankelende hoge tonen. Deze Martin HD28V uit 1999 verkeert in zeer goede conditie. De gitaar heeft een neck reset gehad, en de brug is opnieuw gelijmd. Ook is een crack in de toets gerepareerd, en de gitaar is hierdoor weel klaar voor de strijd! Op cosmetisch gebied valt te zien dat de gitaar diverse speelsporen heeft verzameld; op het bovenblad bevinden zich meerdere dings, en de achterzijde van de klankkast is lichte buckle wear te vinden met daarbij wat hairline cracks in de lak, lopend vanuit de centre strip. Op de achterzijde van de hals en op de hiel zijn wat dings te vinden, en de lak is aan weerszijden van de headstock verkleurd door een muurhanger of standaard.
De gitaar is dus een echte player die ondanks zijn speelsporen wel gewoon een nette gitaar is. Wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een TKL-koffer.

This Martin HD28V from 1999 is in very good condition. The guitar has had a neck reset, and the bridge has been re-glued. A crack in the fretboard has also been repaired, making the guitar ready for action! Cosmetically, the guitar has accumulated various playwear marks; there are several dings on the top, and the back of the body shows light buckle wear, along with some hairline cracks in the finish, extending from the center strip. Some dings can be found on the back of the neck and heel, and the finish is discolored on either side of the headstock due to a wall hanger or stand.
This guitar is a true player, and despite its playwear, it's still a nice guitar. It comes with a TFOA passport and comes in a TKL case.

Diese Martin HD28V aus dem Jahr 1999 befindet sich in einem sehr guten Zustand. Die Gitarre wurde neu eingestellt und der Steg neu verleimt. Ein Riss im Griffbrett wurde repariert, sodass die Gitarre sofort spielbereit ist! Optisch weist sie einige Gebrauchsspuren auf: Die Decke hat mehrere kleine Dellen, und die Rückseite des Korpus zeigt leichte Abnutzungsspuren vom Gürtel sowie feine Lackrisse, die vom Mittelstreifen ausgehen. Auch am Halsrücken und am Halsfuß finden sich einige Dellen, und der Lack ist beidseitig der Kopfplatte durch eine Wandhalterung oder einen Ständer verfärbt.
Diese Gitarre ist ein echtes Instrument und trotz ihrer Gebrauchsspuren immer noch schön. Sie wird mit einem TFOA-Pass und einem TKL-Koffer geliefert.
