Gibson Hummingbird Special Satin Vintage Cherry Sunburst

De Hummingbird Special heeft een traditionele body met vierkante schouders, gemaakt van echt massief mahoniehout voor de achterkant en zijkanten, en een massief Sitka sparren bovenblad dat is verstevigd met traditionele scalloped X-bracing. Deze combinatie van klankhoutsoorten zorgt voor een warme, evenwichtige klank met een uitstekend dynamisch bereik, perfect voor elke muziekstijl. De body met een “concertdiepte” is iets dunner dan die van de Hummingbird Standard, waardoor de basrespons slanker en strakker is. Deze zit perfect in de mix en is ook makkelijker vast te houden.

De hals is met een samengestelde zwaluwstaartverbinding aan de body bevestigd en, net als bij alle akoestische gitaren van Gibson, met lijm vastgezet. De hals heeft een comfortabel rond profiel en de toets van palissanderhout heeft een radius van 12 inch en heeft een parelmoeren parallellogram-inleg, een van de visuele kenmerken die de Hummingbird gemakkelijk herkenbaar maakt. De toets is voorzien van 20 standaard frets, en is net als de traditionele belly-up brug gemaakt van palissander. Hoogwaardige Grover Rotomatic-stemmechanieken zorgen voor een rotsvaste stemstabiliteit. De slagplaat is voorzien van een vereenvoudigde versie van de wereldberoemde Hummingbird-slagplaatafbeeldingen.

De Hummingbird Special is afgewerkt met matte Satin Vintage Cherry Sunburst nitrocelluloselak. De gitaar is uitgerust met een L.R. Baggs Element Bronze piëzo-element onder het zadel en actieve voorversterker met een gemakkelijk toegankelijke volumeregeling in het klankgat, zodat je hem direct op het podium of in de studio kunt gebruiken zodra je hem uit de meegeleverde premium gigbag haalt!

The Hummingbird Special features a traditional square-shouldered body made of solid mahogany for the back and sides, and a solid Sitka spruce top braced with traditional scalloped X-bracing. This combination of tonewoods produces a warm, balanced tone with excellent dynamic range, perfect for any style of music. The “concert depth” body is slightly thinner than the Hummingbird Standard, giving it a leaner, tighter bass response that sits perfectly in the mix and is also easier to hold.

The neck is attached to the body with a compound dovetail joint and, like all Gibson acoustic guitars, is glued in place. The neck has a comfortable round profile and the rosewood fingerboard has a 12-inch radius and features a mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlay, one of the visual features that makes the Hummingbird easily recognizable. The fingerboard has 20 standard frets and, like the traditional belly-up bridge, is made of rosewood. High-quality Grover Rotomatic tuners provide rock-solid tuning stability. The pickguard features a simplified version of the world-famous Hummingbird pickguard graphics.

The Hummingbird Special is finished in a matte Satin Vintage Cherry Sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer. The guitar is equipped with an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze under-saddle piezo pickup and active preamp with an easily accessible volume control in the soundhole, so you can use it on stage or in the studio as soon as you take it out of the included premium gig bag!

Der Hals hat ein angenehm rundes Profil und das Palisandergriffbrett hat einen Radius von 12 Zoll und ist mit einer Parallelogramm-Einlage aus Perlmutt versehen, einem der optischen Merkmale, an denen der Hummingbird leicht zu erkennen ist. Das Griffbrett verfügt über 20 Standardbünde und ist wie die traditionelle Belly-Up-Brücke aus Palisander gefertigt. Hochwertige Grover Rotomatic-Tuner sorgen für eine grundsolide Stimmstabilität. Das Schlagbrett verfügt über eine vereinfachte Version der weltberühmten Hummingbird-Schlagbrettgrafik.

Das Hummingbird Special ist mit mattem Satin Vintage Cherry Sunburst Nitrozelluloselack versehen. Die Gitarre ist mit einem L.R. ausgestattet.
