Eastman MDO305 Octave Mandolin
Individueel gemaakt volgens aloude methoden waarbij ook gebruik is gemaakt van premium, met de hand bewerkt, klankhout.
Net als violen, maakt de mandoline onderdeel uit van een hele familie. Na de mandoline komt de Mandola, vervolgens de Mandocello en als laatste de Mando-bass. De octaaf mandoline is een soort van Iers stiefzusje van de familie, maar is daardoor niet minder geliefd.
Door het lagere register wordt ze vaak gebruikt als begeleidingsinstrument, met haar diepe en rijke klank.
Deze Octave mandoline bevat net zoals andere OM's een A-style body met een massieve esdoorn zij- en achterkant en een massief sparren bovenblad, esdoorn hals, ebben toets en instelbare ebben brug. Perfect afgesteld en afgewerkt zoals Eastman betaamd en klaar om bespeeld te worden.
