De CE24 is al langer bekend als het bolt-on alternatief van wellicht hun meest bekende model: De Custom 24. De bolt-on neck zorgt niet alleen voor een budget-vriendelijker prijsje, maar ook voor extra 'Snap and Sparkle' (aldus Paul zelf) die alleen te vinden is in een geschroefde halsconstructie.
Deze Limited Run van CE24's biedt iets nieuws voor het oog, een Satin finish! Verkrijgbaar in vijf verschillende kleuren (waarvan wij de Tobacco en Dark Cherry Sunburst voeren) met elk maar 25 beschikbare modellen in heel Europa.
De combinatie van PRS' 57/08 TM pickups en de simpele volume, toon & drie-weg schakelaar zorgen voor een veelzijdigheid die toch makkelijk te bedienen is. Daarnaast heeft de toon-knop een Push/Pull schakelaar ingebouwd waarmee je de pickups van Humbuckers naar Single Coils kan schalen. Druk de tremolo-arm in de brug en ineens heb je het beste van twee werelden.
PRS is wellicht een modern merk, maar heeft tegenwoordig ook de geschiedenis om haar succes te bewijzen. Zo is de eerste CE24 al in 1988 gebouwd en is 'ie in de afgelopen 35 jaar alleen maar beter geworden.
