Alleen de meest bekwame en getalenteerde gitaarbouwers werken in de Fender Custom Shop. De "Dream Factory", zoals deze liefkozend wordt genoemd, maakt inderdaad droomgitaren. Deze Stratocaster met Candy Apple Red finish is gebouwd door meesterbouwer Ron Thorn en is werkelijk een lust voor het oog!
De basis van deze gitaar is een 1963 Fender Stratocaster, met een elzenhouten body, esdoorn hals en palissander toets. Hoewel veel klassieke ‘63-specificaties behouden zijn, zijn er ook enkele moderne verfijningen. Zo verbetert de 9.5" radius toets de bespeelbaarheid en voorkomt het eenvoudig "choke outs" bij bends. De pickups in deze Strat zijn ook niet wat je zou verwachten. In plaats van trouw te blijven aan de ‘60s vibe, is deze gitaar uitgerust met handgewonden Fat ‘50s pickups. Deze leveren een punchier en helderder geluid, met minder van het warme, mellow karakter dat typerend is voor ‘60s Stratocasters.
Deze Masterbuilt uit 2021 verkeert nog steeds in excellente conditie. De aging maakt het lastig te zien waar de relic eindigt en de speelsporen beginnen, maar het is duidelijk dat de vorige eigenaar goed voor dit instrument goed heeft gezorgd!

Only the most skilled and talented guitar builders work in the Fender Custom Shop. The "Dream Factory," as it's affectionately known, truly creates dream guitars. This Stratocaster with a Candy Apple Red finish was built by master luthier Ron Thorn and is truly a sight to behold!
The foundation of this guitar is a 1963 Fender Stratocaster, with an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. While many classic '63 specifications have been retained, there are also some modern refinements. The 9.5" radius fingerboard improves playability and easily prevents "choke outs" during bending. The pickups in this Strat are also not what you might expect. Instead of staying true to the '60s vibe, this guitar is equipped with hand-wound Fat '50s pickups. These deliver a punchier and brighter sound, with less of the warm, mellow character typical of '60s Stratocasters.
This 2021 Masterbuilt is still in excellent condition. The aging makes it difficult to see where the relic ends and the playwear begins, but it's clear that the previous owner took good care of this instrument!

Im Fender Custom Shop arbeiten nur die erfahrensten und talentiertesten Gitarrenbauer. Die „Dream Factory“, wie sie liebevoll genannt wird, fertigt wahre Traumgitarren. Diese Stratocaster in Candy Apple Red wurde von Meistergitarrenbauer Ron Thorn gebaut und ist ein echter Hingucker!
Die Basis dieser Gitarre bildet eine Fender Stratocaster von 1963 mit Erlenkorpus, Ahornhals und Palisandergriffbrett. Viele klassische 63er-Spezifikationen wurden beibehalten, es gibt aber auch einige moderne Verfeinerungen. Das Griffbrett mit 9,5" Radius verbessert die Spielbarkeit und verhindert mühelos „Choke-Outs“ beim Bending. Auch die Tonabnehmer dieser Strat entsprechen nicht Ihren Erwartungen. Statt dem 60er-Jahre-Vibe treu zu bleiben, ist diese Gitarre mit handgewickelten Fat '50s-Tonabnehmern ausgestattet. Diese liefern einen druckvolleren und helleren Klang, der weniger vom warmen, weichen Charakter der 60er-Jahre-Stratocaster geprägt ist.
Diese Masterbuilt aus dem Jahr 2021 befindet sich noch immer in ausgezeichnetem Zustand. Durch die Alterung ist es schwer zu erkennen, wo die Reliquie endet und die Spielspuren beginnen, aber es ist klar, dass der Vorbesitzer dieses Instrument gut gepflegt hat!
Wird in einem Hartschalenkoffer mit TFOA-Pass geliefert.
