In 2026, The Fellowship of Acoustics will be celebrating its 25th anniversary, and for this celebratory occasion, we commissioned Kevin Ryan to create this anniversary model of the Nightingale Grand Soloist. We're a bit biased, of course, but what a beautiful guitar it turned out to be!

Met zijn spectaculaire vormgeving, revolutionaire ontwerpinnovaties en een prachtige gedetailleerde klank is de Nightingale Grand Soloist van Kevin een gitaar die altijd tot de verbeelding zal blijven spreken! De Nightingale Grand Soloist is het meest veelzijdige model van Kevin Ryan met een uitgesproken bas, iriserende hoge tonen en een warme, aanhoudende klank. Hij is even geschikt voor fingerstyle, strumming en alternatieve stemmingen.
Deze Ryan heeft een klankkast van het schitterende Cocobolo, een tropische houtsoort met fabuleuze looks en klankkwaliteiten die deze Nightingale Grand Soloist zijn typische karakter geven. Samen met het Glacier Sitka sparren bovenblad krijg je een groots geluid met indrukwekkende lage tonen, een complex maar uitgebalanceerd middengebied en levendige hoge tonen. Dit sparrenhout bevond zich decennialang in ijzerhoudend zout water, en bij het verwerken bleek het door oxidatie een grijs- tot blauwachtige kleur aangenomen te hebben. Het hout is door dit proces gerijpt, lichter van gewicht en ook stijver qua structuur.
De Acoustic Flutes zorgen voor een geweldige projectie en de EO bracing met Honeycomb geeft de gitaar een geweldige respons, dynamiek en projectie. Natuurlijk staat speelcomfort voorop en deze Nightingale heeft Ryan's kenmerkende ergonomische 'bevel' en een cutaway. Naast de prachtige houtsoorten zijn de paua purfling en Cocobolo Arts & Crafts toetsinleg de kers op de taart van dit luxe, oogstrelende instrument!
Aan alles is gedacht, van comfort tot een magistraal geluid en oogstrelend uiterlijk. De gitaar reist in stijl met TFOA paspoort in een Smooth Glitter Gunmetal Calton koffer.

The Nightingale Grand Soloist is Kevin Ryan's most versatile model, boasting a pronounced bass, iridescent highs, and a warm, sustained tone. It's equally suited to fingerstyle, strumming, and alternative tunings.
This Ryan features a back and sides crafted from beautiful Cocobolo, a tropical wood with fabulous looks and tonal qualities that give this Nightingale Grand Soloist its distinctive character. Combined with the Glacier Sitka spruce top, you get a big sound with impressive lows, a complex yet balanced midrange, and vibrant highs. This spruce spent decades in ferrous saltwater, and during processing, it turned out to have taken on a grayish to bluish hue due to oxidation. This process has aged the wood, making it lighter and more rigid.
The Acoustic Flutes provide superb projection, and the EO bracing with Honeycomb gives the guitar superb response, dynamics, and projection. Of course, playing comfort is paramount, and this Nightingale features Ryan's signature ergonomic bevel and a cutaway. Besides the beautiful tonewoods, the paua purfling and Cocobolo Arts & Crafts fingerboard inlays are the icing on the cake for this luxurious, eye-catching instrument!

Boden und Zargen dieser Ryan-Gitarre sind aus wunderschönem Cocobolo gefertigt, einem Tropenholz mit einer fabelhaften Optik und Klangqualität, die der Nightingale Grand Soloist ihren unverwechselbaren Charakter verleihen. In Kombination mit der Glacier Sitka-Fichtendecke entsteht ein voller Klang mit beeindruckenden Bässen, komplexen und dennoch ausgewogenen Mitten und lebendigen Höhen. Diese Fichte verbrachte Jahrzehnte in eisenhaltigem Salzwasser und nahm während der Verarbeitung durch Oxidation einen gräulich-bläulichen Farbton an. Dieser Prozess hat das Holz gealtert und es dadurch leichter und steifer gemacht.
Die akustischen Flöten sorgen für eine hervorragende Klangprojektion, und die EO-Verstrebung mit Wabenstruktur verleiht der Gitarre ein exzellentes Ansprechverhalten, Dynamik und Projektion. Natürlich steht der Spielkomfort an erster Stelle, und diese Nightingale verfügt über Ryans charakteristische ergonomische Abschrägung und einen Cutaway. Neben den wunderschönen Tonhölzern sind die Paua-Einlagen und die Griffbretteinlagen aus Cocobolo im Arts & Crafts-Stil das i-Tüpfelchen für dieses luxuriöse und faszinierende Instrument!
Alles wurde berücksichtigt, vom Komfort über den majestätischen Klang bis hin zum atemberaubenden Aussehen. Die Gitarre wird stilvoll mit einem TFOA-Pass in einem eleganten Calton-Koffer in Smooth Glitter Gunmetal geliefert.
