For those who aren’t familiar with NAMM: each year they organize a major trade show called “The NAMM Show.” It’s where pretty much the entire guitar world comes together to check out the latest guitars and gear from the biggest brands. NAMM also publishes an annual list of the Top 100 guitar retailers worldwide. This recognition celebrates excellence in customer experience, innovation, and contribution to the music products industry.
The NAMM Retail Awards put music retailers in the spotlight. An independent panel selects the Top 100 finalists and then presents the awards. The Best Online Engagement category recognizes the most effective online presence, driving customer engagement through a strong website, online marketing, and social media presence.
For us, this nomination is recognition of what we aim to do online just as we do in-store: build a personal connection with our audience through genuine expertise, accessible explanations, and content that truly helps.
We do this with video-first content that we adapt into platform-appropriate formats, and by connecting every story to a logical next step on our website: from buying guides and comparisons to product pages and care tips.
Another great example is our digital PR campaign Guitars as an investment. where we turned our expertise and original research into a story that was widely picked up by the media and also strengthened our online authority.
