We are proud to present the first edition of our very own festival: Fellows Festival!
Our Fellowship is all about community and passion for guitars. That is why our Fellows Festival is the event for lovers of guitars and guitar music. From rock to jazz and from blues to bluegrass.
On Sunday 21 September, our guitar villa will be a bustling music hotspot full of performances, workshops and, of course, lots of guitars. The shop will be open this day from 11:00 until 17:00, so you can try out many guitars yourself.
On this page, you will find the line-up, workshops, and all information about the festival.
In the run-up to the festival, we will announce more and more names. So keep a close eye on this page. Or follow us on Instagram and Facebook. You can also subscribe to our newsletter. This will keep you up to date with the latest news and guitars every week!

Leif de Leeuw Band
The Leif de Leeuw Band is Europe's premier southern jam band. Leif has been named the best blues-rock guitarist in the Benelux ten times in a row!
With six members, the band delivers a show with fiery guitar solos, two duelling drummers and ripping Hammond sounds, in which improvisation in strongly narrative songs takes centre stage. Each song allows room for improvisation, ensuring that no two shows by the band are the same. The sound is a delightful mix of rock, blues, Americana, country and southern rock with sincere lyrics and a nice seventies touch.
For fans of the Allman Brothers Band, DeWolff, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Little Feat, Warren Haynes, Gov't Mule and Derek and the Dominos, seeing the Leif de Leeuw Band perform live is a must.

Maurice van Hoek & Bertolf
Flatt & Scruggs, Skaggs & Rice, Bill Monroe & Doc Watson, Norman Blake & Tony Rice; just some of the iconic duos that run like a thread through bluegrass history. Maurice van Hoek & Bertolf, patriotic singer-songwriters and virtuosos on the acoustic guitar in bluegrass style, pay tribute to these legendary duos with a special show.
Combined with their own work, Maurice van Hoek & Bertolf promise a varied and captivating set. Blazing guitar lines, flawless harmonies and lots of energy, in a spectacular show with only top songs in which two passionate musicians dare to challenge and strengthen each other.

The Shells
Sometimes you don't have to look far for an unbelievably cool band. We are proud that our very own Milo and his band are coming to play at Fellows Festival!
The Shells is an indie rock band from Zwolle, the Netherlands, that brings together raw energy and introspective lyrics. Think the melancholy of Elliott Smith and the brooding drive of Supergrass. After the trio's authentic, direct debut album from 2024, the band is now taking the next creative step with a concept album to be released in 2025.

JesperJesper
JesperJesper is the new project of Jesper Albers, who you may know as the drummer of rock bands Paceshifters, Mozes and the Firstborn, and the Australian group Wolfmother.
This time, he takes on the role of singer, guitarist, and songwriter. His alt-country sound, infused with touches of 90s indie rock, is reminiscent of acts like MJ Lenderman and The Jayhawks, with nods to the rootsy music of Neil Young.
Expected in 2025, his debut album will further expand his sound, featuring new songs that feel both raw and melancholic.

Jimmy Rosenberg
Jimmy Rosenberg is a household name among guitarists and master of jazz à la Django. He was only eight years old when he created a furore as a guitarist. Critics then and now see in Jimmy the one, true successor to Django Reinhardt.
He performed across Europe, from the Concertgebouw to Django festivals in Oslo and Paris. In 2022, he was booked as a star performer at the Jazz Festival in Milan and also returned to the stage at Samois-sur-Seine, France's famous Django Reinhardt Festival, in the summer of that year.
An album of new compositions by Jimmy and David Bamps is forthcoming. We can't wait to hear Jimmy play at our festival!

Blue Grass Boogiemen & Pieternel
From the Lowlands festival in Biddinghuizen to the world's most famous bluegrass club the Station Inn in Nashville, Tennessee; the multi-awardwinning Blue Grass Boogiemen performed there!
The singer-songwriter Pieternel writes and plays Americana and folk songs with a powerful voice and a raw, unfiltered view of the world. The perfect ingredients to add to the recipe of Holland's best-known bluegrass group Blue Grass Boogiemen.

Hey Moocher
Hey Moocher will take you back to a pub in the 1950s with her raucous sound of aged tube amps and vintage blues repertoire. Firm on it, full of enthusiasm and may it get ‘groovy and hot’ soon, both for audiences and moochers.
Hey Moocher performs her own songs and interprets repertoire by Little Walter, Elmore James, Paul Lamb, Cab Calloway and Muddy Waters, among others.
For these special workshops, you will need a workshop ticket in addition to an admission ticket. These are available separately. There are only a limited number of tickets available for each workshop. More information can be found under “Ticket Information”. Each workshop lasts approximately one hour.
Are you participating in a workshop? Don't forget to bring your own guitar!

Jon Gomm
Jon Gomm is a singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist from Yorkshire, United Kingdom, known for his virtuoso guitar style that you will never forget once you have seen him perform. He uses techniques such as slapping, tapping and retuning while playing, allowing him to produce a huge, layered sound full of bass, drums and an almost orchestral depth and complexity with just one guitar.
We are proud to announce that Jon will be joining us at the Fellows Festival to give a Fingerstyle Guitar workshop. And you can be there too!

Maurice van Hoek & Bertolf
Besides performing, Bertolf and Maurice will also give a special workshop on bluegrass guitar. They have been known as patriotic singer-songwriters and virtuosos on the acoustic guitar in bluegrass style for many years.
So this is a unique opportunity to learn from them the secrets of bluegrass guitar and ask all your questions!

David Piedfort
David Piedfort takes you into the world of slide guitar. This workshop teaches you hands-on how to use that ring around your fingers. How do you actually get started and how do you use it?
David has already given this workshop at our venue once before, and it was a great success. He is returning especially for our festival with the story of “the slide”!

Radboud Withaar
Radboud Withaar is a guitarist and teacher at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. You may also know him from the demos on our YouTube channel. With his own style of rock/pop/funk and blues, he moves effortlessly between genres.
And that is precisely what his workshop at Fellows Festival is about: Improvisation. Discover all of Radboud's tips and tricks during this workshop.

Blue Grass Boogiemen & Pieternel
The Dutch newspaper Volkskrant calls the Blue Grass Boogiemen ‘the best the Netherlands has to offer in terms of authentic roots music.’ During our Festival, they will drop by for a special “Spoedcursus Bluegrass” workshop.
What could be better than learning about bluegrass from the Netherlands' best-known bluegrass group?
During the Fellows Festival, there is more to experience besides the performances and workshops. We will have a festival market with food and drink stands, vintage clothing from Tijdcapsule Vintage Clothing Store from Zwolle, and our friends from Furch will drop by with their Roadshow.
During the Roadshow, Furch will present their complete collection. From the standard models to the latest and most exclusive guitars. And all these guitars are yours to try out! There is no better way to get to know the beauty and quality of Furch.
