PRS Wood Library Custom 24 Tiger Eye 2010

Deze PRS Wood Library Custom 24 uit 2010 is een echte blikvanger, met een adembenemende Tiger Eye-afwerking over een fraai gevlamde esdoorn top. Als onderdeel van het exclusieve Wood Library-programma laat deze gitaar zien wat PRS te bieden heeft op het gebied van houtselectie en afwerking—met onder andere een bijpassende gevlamde esdoorn headstock en stijlvolle scraped binding.

De 57/08 pickups vormen het kloppend hart van deze gitaar en combineren het warme karakter van vintage PAF’s met moderne helderheid en definitie. De palissander hals voelt luxe aan, biedt uitstekende sustain en vult de warme klank van de mahoniehouten body perfect aan. De combinatie met het PRS-tremolosysteem en locking tuners zorgt voor stabiliteit én expressieve speelvrijheid.

Deze Custom 24 werd in 2010 speciaal gebouwd in opdracht van Voerman in Amersfoort en verkeert in zeer goede staat. Er zijn enkele gebruikssporen aanwezig, waaronder lichte dings, wat lakschade op de headstock en lichte buckle wear op de achterkant. Toch blijft dit een indrukwekkende PRS die het bekende wow-effect moeiteloos levert—zowel qua uiterlijk als klank.

This 2010 PRS Wood Library Custom 24 is a true showpiece, featuring a breathtaking Tiger Eye finish over a vividly flamed maple top. As part of the exclusive Wood Library program, this guitar showcases PRS’s finest tonewoods and craftsmanship—highlighted by a matching flamed maple headstock and elegant scraped binding. Every detail reflects the series’ premium character.

At its core are the revered 57/08 pickups, blending the warmth of vintage PAF tones with the clarity and articulation of modern design. The rosewood neck not only offers luxurious feel and sustain but also complements the mahogany body with rich, full-bodied resonance. Combined with the PRS tremolo system and locking tuners, you get top-tier playability and rock-solid tuning stability.

Originally commissioned by Voerman in Amersfoort in 2010, this Custom 24 is in very good condition. It shows some playwear and minor dings, including small paint chips on the headstock and light buckle rash on the back. Still, it remains a visually striking and sonically inspiring PRS with all the wow-factor you’d expect.

Das abgeschabte Binding verleiht der Gitarre einen raffinierten Vintage-Look, während das PRS-Tremolo mit Locking Tuner eine beispiellose Stimmstabilität bietet. Sowohl für saubere Jazz-Akkorde als auch für High-Gain-Rock-Soli bietet diese Custom 24 in jeder Situation ein inspirierendes Spielerlebnis mit der charakteristischen PRS-Balance aus Komfort und Klangleistung.


Die Gitarre wurde 2010 im Auftrag von Voerman in Amersfoort gebaut und befindet sich in einem sehr guten Zustand. Sie hat im Laufe der Jahre Spielspuren und einige Dellen gesammelt, wobei auch etwas Lack um den Gurtknopf am oberen Horn abgeplatzt ist. Auf der Rückseite finden wir auch einige leichte Schnalle Verschleiß, aber das nicht von der Tatsache, dass diese Custom 24 hat den Wow-Faktor, die wir so gut von PRS kennen!
