In honor of its 50th anniversary in 2024, Taylor released a series of limited edition guitars. The guitars are based on the most popular models from the past decades, and they all have one thing in common; each guitar is limited to 1974 pieces in honor of its founding year!

Deze AD14ce is een van deze gelimiteerde modellen die door Taylor is uitgerust met vernieuwde specificaties. Ten opzichte van het reguliere model heeft deze jubileumeditie afgeschuinde randen op de body, Italian acryl stipinleg op de toets, en firestripe slagplaat en een dunne, matte finish in de vorm van een met de hand gespoten Tobacco Sunburst op het bovenblad. Onder het bovenblad huist Taylor's revolutionaire V-Class bracing waardoor de gitaar over meer volume en sustain beschikt, en akkoorden en enkele noten met meer kracht en harmonische boventonen zingen als nooit tevoren.
De combinatie van sparren en walnoot neemt ons terug naar de vroegste gitaren van Bob Taylor, waarvan er vele zijn vervaardigd in de bescheiden werkplaats waaraan de American Dream Series zijn naam te danken heeft. Het resultaat van deze combinatie is duidelijk te horen bij de AD14ce; de gitaar heeft een warme, woody klank met duidelijke projectie en articulatie. Deze Taylor AD14ce is uiteraard ook voorzien van Taylor's eigen Expression System 2 pickupsysteem. Binnenin de gitaar pronkt tenslotte een stijlvolle herinnering aan de verjaardag van Taylor in de vorm van een 50th Anniversary-label.
Deze Taylor is vorig jaar gebouwd, en heeft minimale speelsporen op de slagplaat en het bovenblad, waaronder ook enkele zeer kleine dings. De gitaar ziet er echter zeer schoon uit, en speelt en klinkt ook nog eens geweldig!
This AD14ce is one of those limited edition models that Taylor has equipped with new specifications. Compared to the regular model, this anniversary edition has beveled edges on the body, Italian acrylic dot inlays on the fretboard, a firestripe pickguard and a thin, matte finish in the form of a hand-sprayed Tobacco Sunburst on the top. Underneath the top is Taylor's revolutionary V-Class bracing, which gives the guitar more volume and sustain, and chords and single notes sing with more power and harmonic overtones than ever before.
The combination of spruce and walnut takes us back to Bob Taylor's earliest guitars, many of which were made in the modest workshop that gave the American Dream Series its name. The result of this combination is clearly audible on the AD14ce; the guitar has a warm, woody sound with clear projection and articulation. This Taylor AD14ce is of course also equipped with Taylor's own Expression System 2 pickup system. Finally, inside the guitar is a stylish reminder of Taylor's birthday in the form of a 50th Anniversary label.
This Taylor was built last year, and has minimal playwear on the pickguard and top, including a few very minor dings. However, the guitar looks very clean, and plays and sounds great!
Diese AD14ce ist eines der limitierten Modelle, die Taylor mit neuen Spezifikationen ausgestattet hat. Im Vergleich zum regulären Modell verfügt diese Jubiläumsedition über abgeschrägte Kanten am Korpus, italienische Acryl-Punkteinlagen auf dem Griffbrett, ein Firestripe-Schlagbrett und ein dünnes, mattes Finish in Form eines handgesprühten Tobacco Sunburst auf der Decke. Unter der Decke befindet sich Taylors revolutionäres V-Class-Bracing, das der Gitarre mehr Volumen und Sustain verleiht und Akkorde und Einzeltöne mit mehr Kraft und harmonischen Obertönen erklingen lässt als je zuvor.
Die Kombination aus Fichte und Walnuss erinnert an Bob Taylors früheste Gitarren, von denen viele in der bescheidenen Werkstatt gefertigt wurden, die der American Dream Series ihren Namen gab. Das Ergebnis dieser Kombination ist auf der AD14ce deutlich hörbar; die Gitarre hat einen warmen, holzigen Klang mit klarer Projektion und Artikulation. Selbstverständlich ist auch diese Taylor AD14ce mit Taylors eigenem Expression System 2 Tonabnehmersystem ausgestattet. Im Inneren der Gitarre befindet sich eine stilvolle Erinnerung an Taylors Geburtstag in Form eines 50-Jahre-Jubiläumsetiketts.
Diese Taylor wurde letztes Jahr gebaut und weist nur minimale Spielspuren am Schlagbrett und an der Decke auf, darunter ein paar winzige Dellen. Die Gitarre sieht jedoch sehr sauber aus und lässt sich hervorragend spielen und klingt großartig!
