Het A-model is McIlroy's middelgrote jumbo, ook wel bekend als een auditoriumgitaar. Het is het populairste formaat van het merk en het is uiterst comfortabel om op te spelen. Het produceert een heldere, luchtige toon met een enorm volume.
Het spruce bovenblad wordt vergezeld door een prachtig getekend Braziliaans mahonie achter- en zijkanten, waarbij de ebbenhouten binding en de purfling van esdoorn, pau ferro en palissander zorgen voor de detaillering. De rozet bestaat uit palissander, esdoorn en Paua abalone.
De vijfdelige hals is gemaakt van mahonie en esdoorn, en heeft een ebbenhouten toets en kop overlay. Ook hier spreekt de prachtige afwerking tot de verbeelding; esdoorn purfling is zichtbaar op de toets en de kop, terwijl de 12e fret is versierd met een prachtige Keltische abalone inleg.
De gitaar wordt geleverd in een Hiscox koffer.

The spruce top is accompanied by a beautifully drawn Brazilian mahogany back and sides, with the ebony binding and the purfling of maple, pau ferro and rosewood providing the detailing. The rosette consists of rosewood, maple and Paua abalone.
The five-piece neck is made of mahogany and maple, and features an ebony fingerboard and headstock overlay. Here, too, the fabulous finish appeals to the imagination; Maple purfling is visible on the fingerboard and headstock, while the 12th fret is adorned with a beautiful Celtic abalone inlay.
The guitar comes in a Hiscox hardshell case.
Das A-Modell ist die mittelgroße Jumbo-Gitarre von McIlroy, auch bekannt als Auditorium-Gitarre. Es ist das beliebteste Format der Marke und extrem komfortabel zu spielen. Es erzeugt einen hellen, luftigen Ton mit großem Volumen.
Die Fichtendecke wird von einem wunderschön gezeichneten Boden und Zargen aus brasilianischem Mahagoni begleitet, wobei das Ebenholz-Binding und die Randeinlagen aus Ahorn, Pau Ferro und Palisander die Details bilden. Die Rosette besteht aus Palisander, Ahorn und Paua-Abalone.
Der fünfteilige Hals ist aus Mahagoni und Ahorn gefertigt und verfügt über ein Ebenholzgriffbrett und eine Kopfplattenauflage. Auch hier regt das fabelhafte Finish die Fantasie an: Auf dem Griffbrett und der Kopfplatte ist eine Ahorneinlage zu sehen, während der 12. Bund mit einer wunderschönen keltischen Abalone-Einlage verziert ist.
Die Gitarre wird in einem Hiscox-Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
