De Rozawood Custom OM28 Relic is in 2020 op ons verzoek gemaakt, uitgaande van wat we een van de allermooiste gitaarervaring ooit vonden. Deze Rosewood heeft ons een tijdje verlaten maar is toch weer teruggekeerd! En Inderdaad, een pre-war 1932er OM28. Nu weten we dat Roman Zajicek van Rozawood een vernuftige gitaarbouwer is die altijd op zoek is naar het allerbeste. En met deze OM heeft hij ons hart sneller doen kloppen.
Deze OM heeft de formule van een 'Golden Era' OM gevolgd en bevat met een klankkast van Brazilian Rosewood (met CITES) en een Adirondack sparren bovenblad. De top is voorzien van een ebben brug en een 'teardrop' tortoise slagplaat. De mahoniehouten hals bevat een ebben toets met de blijvend prachtige 'Diamond and Squares' parelmoeren inleg en een traditionele V-profiel dat overloopt in een C-profiel en daarom bijzonder comfortabel aanvoelt.
De aging en de verouderde Waverly stemmechanieken maken het ingetogen plaatje compleet. Hij is gekleed in een dunne nitro finish die professional is gereliced om er voor te zorgen dat het uiterlijk precies aansluit bij de uitzonderlijk overtuigende vintage klank, welke dan ook erg dicht in de buurt van de originele exemplaren komt; complex, integer en warm met een indrukwekkend dynamisch karakter.
Hij ziet er nog zeer schoon uit met slechts enkele speelsporen naast de relic. Hij verkeert in excellente conditie en wordt geleverd in een koffer met TFOA paspoort en cites.

This Rosewood had left us for a while but has returned once again! And indeed, it is a pre-war 1932 OM28. Now we know that Roman Zajicek of Rozawood is a clever guitar builder who is always searching for the very best. And with this OM, he has made our hearts beat faster.
This OM follows the formula of a 'Golden Era' OM and features a Brazilian Rosewood (with CITES) body and an Adirondack spruce top. The top is equipped with an ebony bridge and a 'teardrop' tortoise pickguard. The mahogany neck has an ebony fretboard with the beautifully enduring 'Diamond and Squares' pearl inlays, and it has a traditional V-profile that transitions into a C-profile, making it particularly comfortable to play.
The aging and the weathered Waverly tuning machines complete the understated picture. It is dressed in a thin nitro finish that has been professionally reliced to ensure that its appearance perfectly matches the exceptionally convincing vintage tone, which comes very close to the original examples; complex, honest, and warm, with an impressively dynamic character.
It still looks very clean with only a few signs of play beside the relic. It is in excellent condition and comes with a case and TFOA passport and cites.
Die Rozawood Custom OM28 Relic wurde 2020 auf unsere Anfrage hin gefertigt, basierend auf dem, was wir als eine der schönsten Gitarrenerfahrungen überhaupt betrachteten. Dieses Palisandermodell hatte uns eine Weile verlassen, ist aber nun zurückgekehrt! Tatsächlich handelt es sich um eine Pre-War 1932er OM28. Nun wissen wir, dass Roman Zajicek von Rozawood ein genialer Gitarrenbauer ist, der immer nach dem Besten strebt. Und mit dieser OM hat er unser Herz höher schlagen lassen.
Diese OM folgt der Formel einer 'Golden Era' OM und hat einen Korpus aus brasilianischem Palisanderholz (mit CITES) und eine Decke aus Adirondack-Fichte. Die Decke ist mit einem Ebenholzsteg und einem "teardrop" Schildpatt-Schlagbrett ausgestattet. Der Mahagonihals hat ein Ebenholzgriffbrett mit den wunderschön dauerhaften Perlmutt-Einlagen "Diamond and Squares" und ein traditionelles V-Profil, das in ein C-Profil übergeht und daher besonders komfortabel zu spielen ist.
Das "Aging" und die gealterten Waverly-Stimmmechaniken vervollständigen das zurückhaltende Bild. Sie ist mit einem dünnen Nitrolack überzogen, der professionell "reliced" wurde, um sicherzustellen, dass ihr Aussehen perfekt zum außergewöhnlich überzeugenden Vintage-Klang passt, der sehr nahe an den Originalen kommt; komplex, aufrichtig und warm, mit einem beeindruckend dynamischen Charakter.
Sie sieht noch sehr sauber aus, mit nur wenigen Gebrauchsspuren neben dem "relic". Sie befindet sich in ausgezeichnetem Zustand und wird mit einem Koffer und einem TFOA-Pass geliefert.
