De Lowden 50 Series is het allerbeste wat Lowden te bieden heeft, het neusje van de spreekwoordelijke zalm. Deze O50 bestaat uit een prachtige Braziliaans palissander klankkast en combineert deze met een Sinker Redwood bovenblad. Smaakvolle details zoals de Tasmaans Blackwood/abalone rozet en 'figured' Tasmaans Blackwood binding maken het plaatje helemaal compleet!
Het bovenblad is gemaakt van Mastergrade Sinker Redwood. Sinker Redwood stamt uit Californië en wordt gewonnen uit 1000 tot 2000 jaar oude bomen die natuurlijk omgevallen zijn en eeuwenlang bewaard zijn gebleven onder water. De klank is adembenemend. De typische herkenbare piano-achtige Lowden klank is zeer goed te onderscheiden door het unieke warme, intrigerende en gedefinieerde en rijke klankpalet van het Braziliaans palissander.
De 5-delige mahonie/palissander hals met 'GL Standard' vorm ontmoet de body bij de 14e fret, terwijl de met esdoorn ombonden ebbenhouten toets zijn weg vervolgt over het bovenblad tot hij het klankgat ontmoet met een prachtige welving.
Deze Lowden O50 uit 2018 heeft lichte speelsporen op het bovenblad en de slagplaat, met daarbij ook twee dings op de binding van het bovenblad. Ook op de voorzijde van de headstock zijn lichte sporen te vinden. De gitaar is verder bijzonder schoon en reist met TFOA paspoort in een Ameritage koffer.

The top is made of Mastergrade Sinker Redwood. Sinker Redwood originates from California and is extracted from 1000 to 2000 year old trees that have fallen naturally and been preserved under water for centuries. The sound is breathtaking. The typical recognizable piano-like Lowden sound is very distinguishable due to the unique warm, intriguing and defined and rich sound palette of the Brazilian rosewood.
The 5-piece mahogany/rosewood neck with 'GL Standard' shape meets the body at the 14th fret, while the maple-bound ebony fingerboard continues its way across the top until it meets the soundhole with a beautiful curve.
This Lowden O50 from 2018 has light playwear on the top and pickguard, as well as two dings on the binding of the top. There are also light traces on the front of the headstock. The guitar is otherwise exceptionally clean and travels with a TFOA passport in an Ameritage hardshell case.

Die Decke besteht aus Mastergrade Sinker Redwood. Sinker Redwood stammt aus Kalifornien und wird aus 1000 bis 2000 Jahre alten Bäumen gewonnen, die auf natürliche Weise gefallen sind und über Jahrhunderte unter Wasser konserviert wurden. Der Klang ist atemberaubend. Der typische, erkennbare klavierartige Lowden-Klang ist aufgrund der einzigartigen warmen, faszinierenden und definierten und reichen Klangpalette des brasilianischen Palisanders sehr ausgeprägt.
Der 5-teilige Hals aus Mahagoni/Palisander mit „GL Standard“-Form trifft am 14. Bund auf den Korpus, während das mit Ahorn umwickelte Ebenholzgriffbrett seinen Weg über die Decke fortsetzt, bis es mit einer schönen Kurve auf das Schallloch trifft.
Dieser Lowden O50 aus dem Jahr 2018 hat leichte Spielspuren an der Decke und am Schlagbrett sowie zwei Beulen am Binding der Decke. Auch an der Vorderseite der Kopfplatte sind leichte Gebrauchsspuren vorhanden. Die Gitarre ist ansonsten außergewöhnlich sauber und wird mit einem TFOA-Pass in einem Ameritage-Hartschalenkoffer transportiert.
