Martin D45 Reimagined

The Martin D45 is one of the most graceful instruments ever made. It is the top of the line model in both looks and tone. With 600 pieces hand-inlaid abalone on the top, back, the sides, along the fingerboard extension, on the fingerboard and the peghead.

Using premium selected Indian rosewood for the body and a Grade 8 Sitka spruce for the top. It is not only the decoration that makes her stand out, but even more the tone. 'Grade 8' is the supreme master grade spruce only used for the D45. Therefore the sound is simply downright impressive.

'Sophisticated' is the term used in the USA to distinguish the sound of the D45 from the D42 and D41. You could call it civilized and simply overwhelming. With amazing overtones, a very powerful mid section and impressive bass response. Just a bit above the average. Both the fingerstyle player and the bluegras player will feel at home on this guitar.

In addition, this dreadnought features shifted forward, scalloped braces, which give the top more flexibility, and thus more bass response, and a mahogany neck with Modified Low Oval profile and High Performance tapered. The D45 is the favorite guitar of legends such as Gene Autry and Neil Young and the perfect guitar for the discerning musician.
