De 28-Style Authentic Collection gitaren nemen wat Martin's felbegeerde 1937 Series of Authentics doet en vernieuwen ze voor de moderne tijd. Een 'adjustable truss rod' geeft enthousiastelingen de dagelijkse betrouwbaarheid van een instrument dat goed reist en reageert op seizoensaanpassingen naarmate hij ouder wordt.
Naast het vertrouwde D28 recept van Indisch palissander gecombineerd met een Adirondack sparren bovenblad heeft deze gitaar de nieuwe "Stage 1" licht verouderde afwerking. Zonder de zware slijtage van een instrument dat veel is gebruikt, is de 'Stage 1'-afwerking met lichte craquelé geïnspireerd op die zeldzame vintage instrumenten die gewoon in de koffer werden bewaard en tientallen jaren werden opgeborgen. De finish "Stage 1" draagt de sporen van de tijd, maar niet de littekens van de strijd die vaak voorkomen bij veel vintage hercreaties.
En die aging ziet er extra chique uit samen met de Ambertone finish en abalone 'diamonds & squares' inleg op de toets! En het is niet alleen een prachtige instrument qua uiterlijk; hij klinkt ook zoals je van een Martin dreadnought mag verwachten: luid en gebalanceerd. Naast de relic heeft deze gitaar een paar lichte speelsporen op de slagplaat en klankkast erbij gekregen, maar hij verkeert in excellente conditie.
Inclusief een koffer met TFOA paspoort.

The 28-Style Authentic Collection guitars take what Martin's coveted 1937 Series of Authentics does and revamp them for modern times. An 'adjustable truss rod' gives enthusiasts the everyday reliability of an instrument that travels well and responds to seasonal adjustments as it ages.
Besides the well known D28 recipe of Indian rosewood combined with an Adirondack top, this model features the new “Stage 1” lightly aged finish. Lacking the heavy wear and tear of an instrument that’s seen considerable use, the “Stage 1” finish with light cracking and crazing is inspired by those rare vintage instruments that were simply kept in the case and tucked away for decades. The "Stage 1" finish bears the marks of time but not the battle scars common on many vintage re-creations.
And that aging looks extra chic together with the Ambertone finish and abalone 'diamonds & squares' inlay on the fingerboard! And it's not just a beautiful instrument in terms of looks; it also sounds as you'd expect from a Martin dreadnought: loud and balanced. Besides the relic, this guitar has gotten some light traces of playwear on the pickguard and body, but it is really clean and in excellent condition.

Die Gitarren der 28-Style Authentic Collection übernehmen die Eigenschaften von Martins begehrter 1937er Authentic-Serie und überarbeiten sie für die moderne Zeit. Ein "verstellbarer Halsstab" bietet Enthusiasten die alltägliche Zuverlässigkeit eines Instruments, das sich gut spielen lässt und mit zunehmendem Alter auf saisonale Anpassungen reagiert.
Neben dem bekannten D28-Rezept aus indischem Palisander in Kombination mit einer Adirondack-Decke verfügt dieses Modell über das neue, leicht gealterte "Stage 1"-Finish. Das "Stage 1"-Finish mit leichten Rissen und Sprüngen ist von jenen seltenen Vintage-Instrumenten inspiriert, die jahrzehntelang einfach im Koffer aufbewahrt wurden, ohne die starken Abnutzungserscheinungen eines Instruments, das viel benutzt wurde. Das "Stage 1"-Finish trägt die Spuren der Zeit, aber nicht die Kampfspuren, die bei vielen Vintage-Nachbauten üblich sind.
Und diese Alterung sieht zusammen mit dem Ambertone-Finish und der Abalone-Einlage "Diamonds & Squares" auf dem Griffbrett besonders schick aus! Und sie ist nicht nur optisch ein schönes Instrument, sie klingt auch so, wie man es von einer Martin Dreadnought erwartet: laut und ausgewogen. Abgesehen von der Reliquie hat diese Gitarre einige leichte Spielspuren am Schlagbrett und am Korpus, aber sie ist wirklich sauber und in ausgezeichnetem Zustand.
Enthält einen Hartschalenkoffer mit TFOA-Pass.
