Kauffman Guitars bouwt gitaren die een eerbetoon zijn aan de iconische modellen die de gitaarwereld al zo lang domineren. Vanuit het hoofdkwartier in Alphen aan de Rijn worden de gitaren zorgvuldig voorzien van een prachtig verouderde look die het instrument een ingespeeld gevoel geven.
De paulownia body is niet alleen ontzettend licht van gewicht, maar ook voorzien van een 'Nicotine Swedish Blonde' finish die samen met de Medium relic zorgt voor een stoere, ingespeelde look! De degelijke hardware van Gotoh zorgt ervoor dat het instrument gedurende lange periodes stabiel te bespelen is. Kauffmann zorgt ervoor dat de veroudering realistisch en gebalanceerd is, en de veroudering van de hardware is afgestemd op de veroudering van de body.
De achterzijde van de esdoorn hals is voorzien van een dunne laklaag en zijn de randen afgerond voor een comfortabel speelgevoel. Kauffmann's eigen Slightly Overwound S-elementen bieden daarbij ook de tonale kwaliteiten die de gitaar eer aandoen. Ze zijn het best te omschrijven als een romig bluesy geluid zonder de vintage transparantie te verliezen.

The paulownia body is not only incredibly lightweight, but also has a 'Nicotine Swedish Blonde' finish that, together with the Medium relic, provides a cool, played-in look! Gotoh's solid hardware ensures that the instrument can be played stably for long periods. Kauffmann ensures that the aging is realistic and balanced, and the aging of the hardware is matched to the aging of the body.
The back of the maple neck has a thin layer of lacquer and the edges are rounded for a comfortable playing feeling. Kauffmann's own Slightly Overwound S pickups also provide the tonal qualities that do justice to the guitar. They are best described as a creamy bluesy sound without losing the vintage transparency.
The guitar comes with TFOA passport in a gig bag.

Kauffmanns eigene Slightly Overwound S-Tonabnehmer sorgen zudem für die klanglichen Qualitäten, die der Gitarre gerecht werden. Sie lassen sich am besten als cremiger, bluesiger Sound beschreiben, ohne die Vintage-Transparenz zu verlieren.
