Iris Guitars werd in 2018 opgericht als een divisie van Circle Strings in het schilderachtige Burlington, Vermont. Door gebruik te maken van geavanceerde productietechnieken en jarenlange ervaring in gitaarbouw, weet Iris gitaren van hoge kwaliteit te leveren tegen een toegankelijke prijs. Dit bereiken ze door het aanbod te beperken tot enkele zorgvuldig ontworpen modellen.
Het OG-model is een comfortabele, op een LG geïnspireerde 14-fret gitaar met een mahoniehouten achterkant en zijkanten, en een top van Sitka spruce met non-scalloped Adirondack bracing. De satijnen afwerking versterkt het resonante, rijke en verrassend krachtige karakter van dit compacte instrument.
De C-profiel hals is gemaakt van mahonie en voorzien van een toets en brug van Indian rosewood. Golden Age stemmechanieken zorgen voor een vintage look en betrouwbare werking. De witte binding, kleine positiestippen en het tortoise slagplaatje geven deze Iris een stijlvolle en ingetogen uitstraling.
Op wat krasjes rond het slagplaatje na is deze gitaar nauwelijks bespeeld en verkeert hij in uitstekende staat. Wordt geleverd in een TKL hardshell koffer.

The OG model is a compact, LG-style 14-fret guitar with an incredibly comfortable feel and several refined features. It has mahogany back and sides paired with a Sitka spruce top and non-scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing. The satin finish not only feels smooth but also enhances the guitar’s rich, open tone—surprisingly powerful for a smaller-bodied instrument.
It’s fitted with a C-shaped mahogany neck, Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and vintage-style Golden Age tuners. Elegant details like white binding, subtle fingerboard inlays, and a tortoise pickguard give the OG a classic, understated look.
Apart from some light pickguard scratches, this guitar shows very little wear and remains in excellent condition. It comes in a TKL hardshell case.

Die satinierte Oberfläche fühlt sich nicht nur glatt an, sondern verstärkt auch den vollen, offenen Ton der Gitarre - überraschend kraftvoll für ein Instrument mit kleinerem Korpus.
Sie ist mit einem C-förmigen Mahagoni-Hals, einem Griffbrett und Steg aus indischem Palisander und Mechaniken im Vintage-Stil aus dem Golden Age ausgestattet. Elegante Details wie weißes Binding, dezente Griffbretteinlagen und ein schildpattfarbenes Schlagbrett verleihen der OG einen klassischen, zurückhaltenden Look.
Abgesehen von einigen leichten Kratzern am Schlagbrett weist diese Gitarre nur sehr geringe Gebrauchsspuren auf und ist in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand. Sie wird in einem TKL-Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
