Gibson's legendarische voormalige president Theodore 'Ted' McCarty hielp bij de ontwikkeling van enkele van de meest iconische elektrische gitaren ooit in de jaren 1950 en begin jaren 1960, waaronder de Les Paul, ES335, Flying V, Explorer, SG en Firebird modellen. Hij schetste graag ideeën voor nieuwe instrumenten tijdens vergaderingen, en het hoogtepunt van zijn creatieve output was in 1957 toen hij probeerde Gibson's elektrische gitaarontwerpen aanzienlijk te moderniseren.
Gibson Custom Shop presenteert met trots de "Theodore", geïnspireerd door Ted McCarty's originele tekening en aantekeningen. Zijn unieke kenmerken zijn een elzenhouten body, scimitar kop, dubbele Florentijnse cutaways en een walnoten middenstrip. De lichtgewicht, uitgebalanceerde constructie is extreem comfortabel en de krachtige P90 pickups produceren moeiteloze sustain en een rijke diversiteit aan tonen.
Enige speelsporen op de body laat zien dat hij het afgelopen jaar al wat actie heeft gezien, maar hij ziet er over het algemeen nog erg schoon uit en verkeert in excellente conditie. Wordt geleverd in de originele koffer met echtheidscertificaat.

Gibson’s legendary former president Theodore ‘Ted’ McCarty helped develop some of the most iconic electric guitars ever during the 1950s and early 1960s, including the Les Paul, ES335, Flying V, Explorer, SG, and Firebird models. He enjoyed sketching new instrument ideas during meetings, and the height of his creative output was in 1957 when he sought to modernize Gibson’s electric guitar designs significantly.

Its unique features include an alder body, scimitar headstock, double Florentine cutaways, and a walnut center strip. The lightweight, balanced construction is extremely comfortable, and the powerful P90 pickups produce effortless sustain and a rich diversity of tones.
Some playwear on the body shows that it has seen some action last year, but it still looks very clean overall and it is in excellent condition. Comes in the original hardshell case with certificate of authenticity.

Gibson Custom Shop ist stolz darauf, die "Theodore" zu präsentieren, die von Ted McCartys Originalzeichnungen und -notizen inspiriert wurde. Zu ihren einzigartigen Merkmalen gehören ein Erlenkorpus, eine Krummsäbel-Kopfplatte, doppelte Florentiner Cutaways und ein Mittelstreifen aus Walnussholz. Die leichte, ausgewogene Konstruktion ist äußerst komfortabel, und die kraftvollen P90-Tonabnehmer sorgen für müheloses Sustain und eine große Klangvielfalt.
Einige Spielspuren auf dem Korpus zeigen, dass sie im letzten Jahr etwas gespielt wurde, aber sie sieht insgesamt noch sehr sauber aus und ist in ausgezeichnetem Zustand. Kommt im Original-Hartschalenkoffer mit Echtheitszertifikat.
