1959 Gibson ES335's in Natural finish met 'dot neck' behoren tot de meest gewilde en verzamelbare vintage thin-line elektrische gitaren. In tegenstelling tot post (eind) 1960-modellen, heeft deze Natural, of Blonde, '59 die herkenbare vette hals, lange slagplaat en witte plastic strapbuttons. De ES355 uit 1959 werd normaliter uitgevoerd met een Bigsby en stereo electronica met de welbekende Variotone schakelaar. Deze Reissue pakt echter de zeldzame versie met een stopbar en mono elektronica, die veel spelers prefereren.
