Toen John Pisano de Pisano-serie gitaren voor Eastman ontwierp, kon hij putten uit tientallen jaren ervaring als speler en een grondige kennis van de constructie van archtop-gitaren die hij vergaarde door zijn samenwerking met Bob Benedetto, John Monteleone en John D' Angelico.

De Kent Armstrong humbucker produceert een rijke, donkere toon die qua definitie en helderheid bijna akoestisch klinkt, maar toch zeer feedbackbestendig is, waardoor een hoog volume kan worden gespeeld.
When John designed the Pisano series of guitars for Eastman, he was able to draw upon decades of experience as a player as well as a deep knowledge of archtop guitar construction which he gleaned from his association with Bob Benedetto, John Monteleone, and John D'Angelico.
The result is an instrument that incorporates the finest materials and lutherie know-how into a guitar that is both sonically satisfying and visually stunning. The AR880CE features a carved spruce top, maple back, sides and neck, and an ebony fingerboard. Both functional and stylish, it is outfitted with an attractive Pisano style tailpiece, Schaller tuners with ebony buttons, wood volume and tone knobs, and an ebony pickguard.
The mounted Kent Armstrong humbucker produces a rich, dark tone that sounds almost acoustic in its definition and clarity, yet is very feedback resistant allowing for high volume playing.

Der montierte Kent-Armstrong-Humbucker erzeugt einen satten, dunklen Ton, der in seiner Definition und Klarheit fast akustisch klingt, aber dennoch sehr rückkopplungsresistent ist und ein Spielen mit hoher Lautstärke ermöglicht.
