Fender Custom 1960s Stratocaster Cunetto Relic Sunburst 1998

Alleen de meest bedreven en getalenteerde luthiers werken bij de Fender Custom Shop. De "Dream Factory", zoals het liefkozend wordt genoemd, maakt inderdaad droomgitaren. Deze Custom Shop Stratocaster doet denken aan het begin van de jaren zestig, toen de klei stippen als positieaanduidingen, een 3-laags slagplaat en een esdoornhouten toets de Strat sierden.


Hij is afgewerkt in een prachtige verourderde Cunetto sunburst afwerking met Journeyman relic! Deze Strat is als een van de eerste Fender oplages zorgvuldig verouderd om een niveau van gebruik en misbruik te simuleren zoals alleen de Custom Shop kan, nauwelijks te onderscheiden van een echt vintage instrument. De '60 Style Oval 'C'' esdoornhouten hals is gebouwd door niemand minder dan John Cruz, en is uitgerust met een toets van palissander met een radius van 9.5 inch geeft je een moderne, soepele bespeelbaarheid.


Deze Custom Shop uit 1998 heeft naast zijn verouderde finish zeer lichte speelsporen opgelopen, met name op zijn slagplaat. De gitaar heeft verder een refret ondergaan waarbij de radius is aangepast naar een compound radius van 9.5 inch naar 12 inch. Desalniettemin ziet hij er nog enorm schoon uit en verkeert hij dan ook nog in excellente conditie. De gitaar wordt geleverd in een koffer met echtheidscertificaat.

Only the most skilled and talented luthiers work at the Fender Custom Shop. The ‘Dream Factory’, as it is affectionately called, indeed makes dream guitars. This Custom Shop Stratocaster is reminiscent of the early 1960s, when clay dots as position markers, a 3-ply pickguard and a maple fingerboard graced the Strat.


It is finished in a beautiful aged Cunetto sunburst finish with Journeyman relic! As one of the first Fender editions, this Strat has been carefully aged to simulate a level of use and abuse as only the Custom Shop can, barely distinguishable from a real vintage instrument. The ‘60 Style Oval “C”’ maple neck was built by none other than John Cruz, and features a rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5-inch radius gives you modern, smooth playability.


Besides its aged finish, this 1998 Custom Shop has suffered very light playing marks, especially on its pickguard. The guitar has also undergone a refret in which the radius was changed to a compound radius from 9.5 to 12 inches. Nevertheless, it still looks extremely clean and is therefore still in excellent condition. The guitar comes in a case with certificate of authenticity.


Im Fender Custom Shop arbeiten nur die besten und talentiertesten Gitarrenbauer. Die „Traumfabrik“, wie sie liebevoll genannt wird, stellt tatsächlich Traumgitarren her. Diese Custom Shop Stratocaster erinnert an die frühen 1960er Jahre, als Clay Dots als Positionsmarker, ein 3-lagiges Schlagbrett und ein Ahorngriffbrett die Strat zierten.


Die Stratocaster ist in einer schönen gealterten Cunetto-Sunburst-Lackierung mit Journeyman-Reliquie lackiert! Als eine der ersten Fender-Editionen wurde diese Strat sorgfältig gealtert, um den Grad der Nutzung und des Missbrauchs zu simulieren, wie es nur der Custom Shop kann, und ist kaum von einem echten Vintage-Instrument zu unterscheiden. Der '60 Style Oval „C“' Ahornhals wurde von keinem Geringeren als John Cruz gebaut und verfügt über ein Palisandergriffbrett mit einem 9,5-Zoll-Radius, das eine moderne, geschmeidige Spielbarkeit ermöglicht.


Neben dem gealterten Finish hat diese Custom Shop von 1998 sehr leichte Spielspuren, vor allem auf dem Schlagbrett, erlitten. Die Gitarre wurde außerdem einem Refret unterzogen, bei dem der Radius auf einen Compound-Radius von 9,5 auf 12 Zoll geändert wurde, sieht aber immer noch sehr sauber aus und ist daher in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Die Gitarre wird in einem Koffer mit Echtheitszertifikat geliefert.
