Collings C100
De grotere, robuustere neef van het klassieke C10-model en de nieuwste toevoeging aan de Collings-serie, combineert het formaat van een parlor met de kracht en het volume van een instrument met een grote body. Qua formaat is hij vergelijkbaar met de bodygrootte van een Grand Auditorium, maar deze Collings C100 heeft iets meer punch en low-end.
Met een body die aan de brugzijde de grootte van een Jumbo benadert, heeft de C100 geen tekort aan stevige bas, maar de smalle taille en de non-scalloped bracing zorgen voor een uitzonderlijke balans en helderheid die meestal alleen te vinden is in instrumenten met een kleinere body.
Of je nu een flatpicker, een fingerstyle-gitarist of iets daartussenin bent, de C100 biedt indrukwekkende veelzijdigheid en is misschien wel de ideale metgezel voor singer-songwriters.

With a body approaching the size of a Jumbo on the bridge side, the C100 has no shortage of solid bass, but the narrow waist and non-scalloped bracing provide exceptional balance and clarity usually only found in smaller-bodied instruments .

Als größerer, robusterer Cousin des klassischen C10-Modells und neueste Ergänzung der Collings-Reihe kombiniert es Salongröße mit der Kraft und Lautstärke eines großvolumigen Instruments. In der Größe ähnelt es der Körpergröße eines Grand Auditorium, aber dieser Collings C100 hat etwas mehr Druck und Tiefton.
Mit einem Korpus, der an der Stegseite annähernd die Größe eines Jumbo hat, mangelt es dem C100 nicht an soliden Bässen, aber die schmale Taille und die nicht gewellte Verstrebung sorgen für außergewöhnliche Balance und Klarheit, die man normalerweise nur bei Instrumenten mit kleinerem Korpus findet.
