Steve Vai is sinds de introductie van de JEM 1987 onlosmakelijk verbonden aan het model met de iconische handgreep. Vai hielp mee bij het ontwerpen van het model dat hevig geïnspireerd is door de Superstrats uit het begin van de jaren '80, zoals de gitaren van Jackson, Kramer en Hamer. De scherpe bodylijnen, platte halzen en humbuckers met hoge output maken deze gitaren tot echte shredders!
Deze JEM is geproduceerd in Japan en is voorzien van alle designelementen die je bij dit gitaarmodel. De diepe cutaways bieden samen met de afgeronde hiel eenvoudige toegang tot alle 24 frets, waarvan de laatste vier frets gescalloped zijn. De zwevende Ibanez Edge Locking Tremolo heeft een bereik van de meest subtiele vibrato tot de diepste divebombs. De pickupconfiguratie is bijzonder multifunctioneel met twee humbuckers en één single coil; door de slimme schakeling worden de humbuckers in positie 2 en 4 gesplit om zo de smaakvolle sounds van de tussenposities van een Stratocaster te creëren.

This JEM is produced in Japan and features all the design elements you would expect from this guitar model. The deep cutaways, together with the rounded heel, provide easy access to all 24 frets, of which the last four frets are scalloped. The floating Ibanez Edge Locking Tremolo has a range from the subtlest vibrato to the deepest divebombs. The pickup configuration is particularly multifunctional with two humbuckers and one single coil; The smart circuit splits the humbuckers into positions 2 and 4 to create the tasteful sounds of the intermediate positions of a Stratocaster.
This 2006 Ibanez JEM7 has light playwear on the body, as well as some dings on the sides and back of the body. The guitar is very clean overall and is therefore in excellent condition. Delivered with TFOA passport in the original hardshell case.
