De Verythin serie werd ontwikkeld als een moderne interpretatie van de klassieke semi-hollow traditie, waarbij de dunne body voor comfort zorgt zonder in te boeten op de warme, resonante klank waar Höfner om bekendstaat. Deze Standard versie is niet te verwarren met de in China geproduceerde CT-serie, en maakt de Duitse kwaliteit toegankelijk voor een breder publiek, terwijl alle essentiële kenmerken van het merk behouden blijven. Het feit dat luthier Thomas Stühlein het label heeft ondertekend onderstreept de aandacht voor detail en trots in het vakmanschap die bij elke Höfner hoort.
Deze Höfner is de eerste gitaar die is gebouwd op 18 april 2007, en verkeert met slechts minimale speelsporen nog nagenoeg in nieuwstaat. De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in de originele Höfner koffer.

This Höfner is the first guitar built on April 18, 2007, and is still in near mint condition with only minimal playwear. The guitar comes with TFOA passport in the original Höfner hardshell case.
