Ter ere van het 50-jarig jubileum brengt Taylor een reeks gitaren in beperkte oplage uit. De gitaren zijn gebaseerd op de meest populaire modellen uit de afgelopen decennia, en ze hebben allemaal één ding gemeen; elke gitaar heeft als eerbetoon aan het oprichtingsjaar een oplage van 1974 stuks!
Deze Builder's Edition 314ce is een van de gelimiteerde modellen die door Taylor is uitgerust met vernieuwde specificaties. De gitaar is uitgerust met een klankkast van Urban essen, de houtsoort die op duurzame wijze wordt gewonnen in Zuid-Californië en qua klank in de buurt komt van Hondurees mahonie. Onder het Sitka sparren bovenblad huist Taylor's revolutionaire V-Class bracing waardoor de gitaar over meer volume en sustain beschikt, en akkoorden en enkele noten met meer kracht en harmonische boventonen zingen als nooit tevoren.
De gitaar is verder net als de reguliere Builder's Edition voorzien van diverse details die het speelcomfort naar een ongekende hoogte tillen. Het bovenblad heeft afgeronde randen, en bij de armrest en cutaway is een bevel aangebracht voor een bijzonder plezierige speelervaring. Taylor heeft het jubileummodel verder onder andere uitgerust met Gotoh 510 stemmechanieken, Compass-toetsinleg en een Silent Satin-finish op de body.
Deze Taylor Builder's Edition 314ce 50th Anniversary is uiteraard ook voorzien van Taylor's eigen Expression System 2 pickupsysteem. Binnenin de gitaar pronkt tenslotte een stijlvolle herinnering aan de verjaardag van Taylor in de vorm van een 50th Anniversary-label!

This Builder's Edition 314ce is one of the limited models that Taylor has equipped with updated specifications. The guitar is equipped with a body made of Urban ash, the wood that is sustainably sourced in Southern California and has a sound similar to Honduran mahogany. The Sitka spruce top houses Taylor's revolutionary V-Class bracing, which gives the guitar more volume and sustain, and chords and single notes sing with more power and harmonic overtones like never before.
Just like the regular Builder's Edition, the guitar is also equipped with various details that take playing comfort to an unprecedented level. The top has rounded edges, and a bevel has been applied to the armrest and cutaway for a particularly pleasant playing experience. Taylor has further equipped the anniversary model with Gotoh 510 tuners, Compass fingerboard inlays and a Silent Satin finish on the body.
This Taylor Builder's Edition 314ce 50th Anniversary is of course also equipped with Taylor's own Expression System 2 pickup system. Finally, inside the guitar there is a stylish reminder of Taylor's birthday in the form of a 50th Anniversary label!

Diese Builder's Edition 314ce ist eines der limitierten Modelle, die Taylor mit aktualisierten Spezifikationen ausgestattet hat. Die Gitarre ist mit einem Korpus aus Urban-Esche ausgestattet, dem Holz, das nachhaltig in Südkalifornien angebaut wird und einen ähnlichen Klang wie honduranisches Mahagoni hat. Die Sitka-Fichtendecke beherbergt Taylors revolutionäres V-Class-Bracing, das der Gitarre mehr Volumen und Sustain verleiht und Akkorde und einzelne Noten mit mehr Kraft und harmonischen Obertönen erklingen lässt wie nie zuvor.
Ebenso wie die reguläre Builder's Edition ist auch die Gitarre mit diversen Details ausgestattet, die den Spielkomfort auf ein nie dagewesenes Niveau heben. Die Decke verfügt über abgerundete Kanten, für ein besonders angenehmes Spielerlebnis wurde eine Abschrägung an der Armlehne und am Cutaway angebracht. Darüber hinaus hat Taylor das Jubiläumsmodell mit Gotoh 510-Mechaniken, Compass-Griffbretteinlagen und einem Silent Satin-Finish am Korpus ausgestattet.
