The Bourgeois slope-shouldered dreadnought, with its slightly shorter 25" scale, is a true jack-of-all-trades.
Bourgeois Heirloom Series SD The Standard Natural
The Heirloom Series is Bourgeois' tip of the hat to the guitars that inspired their careers in lutherie and ignited their never-ending pursuit of the essence of yesteryear’s sound and vibe.
The Bourgeois slope-shouldered dreadnought, with its slightly shorter 25" scale, is a true jack-of-all-trades. Well-loved as a vocal accompaniment and fingerpicker's dreadnought, it's certainly no slouch for flatpicking leads, either. The mahogany back and sides together with an Adirondack top certainly give this slope shoulder power and a well balanced, authoritative tone.
The details with which this beautiful guitar is finished, like the ivoroid binding and ziricote fretboard and bridge, emphasize once again the high standard with which the small team at Bourgeois deliver its approximately 400 guitars per year. Comes in a hardshell case with TFOA passport.
