De G6118T-140 Anniversary heeft een 16 inch brede hollow body met een massief Adirondack sparren bovenblad, gelamineerde esdoorn achter- en zijkanten en ML bracing. Hij wordt aangedreven door de gloednieuwe FT-67 Filter'Tron humbucking pickups, die zijn ontworpen om de authentieke vintage Gretsch voicing te vangen, maar met een meer afgeronde toon voor moderne speelstijlen.
Dit krachtige paar pickups biedt een open en ongerepte top-end chime, glasachtige midrange, robuuste low-end en gebalanceerde harmonischen voor een toon die naadloos mengt met andere instrumenten.
De G6118T-140 heeft een weelderige 2-Tone Pure Platinum over Stone Platinum afwerking, versierd met bijpassende slagplaat en pickup-omlijsting, 'jeweled' G-Arrow bedieningsknoppen en een metalen 140e verjaardag plaatje op de kop voor een look en stijl die net zo groot en onmiskenbaar is als zijn geluid!
Deze Gretsch uit 2023 ziet er nog verbazingwekkend schoon uit, en is eigenlijk nauwelijks van een nieuwe gitaar te onderscheiden. En hij is zelfs iets beter dan hij oorspronkelijk was, want de brug is vervangen door een ABM roller bridge waardoor de Bigsby nóg soepeler werkt! De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer.

The G6118T-140 features a lush 2-Tone Pure Platinum over Stone Platinum finish, adorned with a matching pickguard and pickup surround, jeweled G-Arrow control knobs, and a metal 140th Anniversary plaque on the headstock for a look and style that’s as big and unmistakable as its sound!
This 2023 Gretsch still looks amazingly clean, and is actually almost indistinguishable from a new guitar. And it's even a little better than it originally was, because the bridge has been replaced by an ABM roller bridge, which makes the Bigsby work even smoother! The guitar comes with a TFOA passport in a hardshell case.

Diese Gretsch von 2023 sieht immer noch erstaunlich sauber aus und ist von einer neuen Gitarre kaum zu unterscheiden. Und sie ist sogar noch etwas besser als ursprünglich, denn der Steg wurde durch einen ABM-Rollensteg ersetzt, der das Bigsby-Spiel noch geschmeidiger macht! Die Gitarre wird mit einem TFOA-Pass in einem Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
