Dit element is gebaseerd op PAFs met een lagere output die veelal in vintage 335s te vinden zijn. Het geluid is iets lichter in vergelijking met een standaard Lollar Imperial. Het resultaat is een uitzonderlijke definitie bij het spelen van akkoorden en een perfect balans om door de mix heen te snijden. De lagere snaren blijven ook langer clean dan bij de meeste humbuckers. De Low Wind is perfect voor die Les Pauls die heel donker klinken in de hals, of voor gitaren die over het algemeen donker klinken. Dit element is ook een goede match voor versterkers die zwaar klinken in het middengebied, of als je een helder en strak laag zoekt. Gemaakt met Alnico 5 magneten speciaal gedemagnetiseerd zijn voor de brug positie.
