Lowry Carrick Walnut Swiss Moon Spruce
Drew Lowry, oorspronkelijk afkomstig uit Noord-Ierland, bouwt sinds 2014 professioneel op maat gemaakte gitaren in het noorden van Frankrijk. Hij bouwt in een eigentijdse stijl gericht op eenvoud en elegantie van vorm, waarbij de Ierse gitaarbrouwinvloeden duidelijk aanwezig zijn.
Hij biedt momenteel twee modellen aan, de Braid en Carrick. Zij zijn genoemd naar prominente bezienswaardigheden in zijn geboortestreek Antrim, Noord-Ierland. De Carrick is een middelgroot model en is qua afmetingen ongeveer gelijk aan een OM. Het is in de eerste plaats bedoeld als een fingerstyle-instrument, met een vol geluid, rijk aan overtonen en sustain.
Deze Carrick beschikt over een fijngenerfd Zwitsers sparren bovenblad gepaard met een adembenemend mooie klankkast vervaardigd uit Bastogne Walnut. De mahonie hals met ebben toets laat zich soepel bespelen, niet in de laatste plaats door de matte finish aan de achterzijde. De afwerking is van een ongekend hoog niveau, en dit maakt deze Carrick tot een fabuleus instrument in zowel uiterlijk als klank.
De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer van Hiscox.

Drew Lowry, originally from Northern Ireland, has been professionally building custom guitars in the north of France since 2014. He builds in a contemporary style focused on simplicity and elegance of form, with Irish guitar brewing influences clearly present.
He currently offers two models, the Braid and Carrick. They are named after prominent landmarks in his native Antrim, Northern Ireland. The Carrick is a medium-sized model and is approximately the same size as an OM. It is primarily intended as a fingerstyle instrument, with a full sound, rich in overtones and sustain.
This Carrick has a fine-grained Swiss spruce top paired with a breathtakingly beautiful back and sides made of Bastogne Walnut. The mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard is easy to play, not least because of the matte finish on the back. The finish is of an unprecedented high level, and this makes this Carrick a fabulous instrument in both appearance and sound.
The guitar comes with a TFOA passport in a Hiscox hardshell case.

Drew Lowry, ursprünglich aus Nordirland, baut seit 2014 professionell kundenspezifische Gitarren in Nordfrankreich. Er baut in einem zeitgenössischen Stil, der auf Einfachheit und Eleganz der Form setzt, wobei die Einflüsse des irischen Gitarrenbaus deutlich erkennbar sind.
Derzeit bietet er zwei Modelle an, das Braid und das Carrick. Sie sind nach markanten Wahrzeichen seiner Heimat Antrim in Nordirland benannt. Der Carrick ist ein mittelgroßes Modell und hat ungefähr die gleiche Größe wie ein OM. Es ist in erster Linie als Fingerstyle-Instrument gedacht, mit vollem Klang, reich an Obertönen und Sustain.
Diese Carrick hat eine feingemaserte Schweizer Fichtendecke gepaart mit einem atemberaubend schönen Boden und Zargen aus Bastogne-Walnuss. Der Mahagonihals mit Ebenholzgriffbrett lässt sich gut spielen, nicht zuletzt aufgrund der matten Oberfläche auf der Rückseite. Die Verarbeitung ist auf einem beispiellos hohen Niveau und macht dieses Carrick sowohl optisch als auch klanglich zu einem fabelhaften Instrument.
Die Gitarre wird mit einem TFOA-Pass in einem Hiscox-Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
