De L00 werd door Gibson geïntroduceerd in de jaren 30, en was jarenlang dé standaard binnen de industrie. Deze L00 Deluxe vangt de erfenis van deze vroege exemplaren maar voegt daar veel custom opties aan toe.
Zo heeft de gitaar onder andere prachtige meerlaagse bindingen, een palissander klankkast, mother of pearl inleg op de toets met messing rand, gouden frets, een met de hand aangebrachte Rosewood Burst finish en een bindingen om de toets en headstock.
Deze L00 heeft een perfecte balans en een ongeëvenaarde projectie die je niet snel vindt in vergelijkbare gitaren met een kleine body.
