Bourgeois Legacy Soloist OM

Dana Bourgeois founded Bourgeois Guitars in 1992 in Lewiston, Maine in the United States. In the years before that, he gained experience as a restorer, repairer and guitar builder. In the latter position, Bourgeois began a collaboration with guitarist Eric Schoenberg in the 1980s, which eventually led to the creation of the Soloist model. This model ultimately also prompted Martin to reintroduce the OM model into the catalog.

Belonging to the Legacy series, this Soloist is part of a collection of models with a great sense of style, but with a traditional design. This modern classic features a Madagascar Rosewood back and sides and an Italian spruce top. Thanks to the extraordinary craftsmanship of Bourgeois, this beautiful combination of woods sounds like never before.

The guitar also features ziricote binding and a detailed wooden rosette, and the ebony fingerboard features subtle abalone inlays. The details with which this beautiful guitar is finished emphasize once again the high standard with which the small team at Bourgeois deliver its approximately 400 guitars per year.
