De ER90 Traditional van Maton is een combinatie van drie inspiratiebronnen: De ER90C, het 75th Anniversary Traditional-model en de Custom Shop CS Classic. De gitaar bevat de bracing- en ontwerpelementen van de 75th Traditional, de palissander achterkant en zijkanten en de matte finish van de ER90C, en tenslotte de dunnere bodydiepte van de CS Classic.
Het resultaat is een gitaar met een kleine body en een volledige tonale respons die klinkt als een klok. Er is ondanks de dunnere bodydiepte geen gebrek aan bas -de body is 10 mm dunner dan de 75th Anniversary body-, aangezien de diepte wordt gecompenseerd door de ongelooflijke rijke bas die wordt geproduceerd door de palissanderhouten achterkant en zijkanten. De compactere body zorgt ook voor iets meer focus aan de voorkant van de gitaar, waardoor het een briljant opname-instrument wordt.
Visueel heeft de ER90 Traditional zijn uiterlijk geleend van zijn oudere broer, de ER90C, die onder meer een een witte binding, een mahoniehouten hals, een ebben toets en brug, en een ebben kopplaat heeft. De mahoniehouten hals zorgt voor klank en stabiliteit, en de ebben toets en de brug voegen een beetje helderheid aan de bovenkant toe als aanvulling op de rijke bas van de palissanderhouten achter- en zijkanten.
Deze Maton ER90 is een prachtige gitaar die geschikt is voor alle speelstijlen, van fingerstyle tot strumming, en uiteraard is hij uitgerust met Matons briljante AP5 Pro pickup-systeem, waardoor de ER90 Traditional absoluut onverslaanbaar is op het podium!
The ER90 Traditional from Maton is a combination of three sources of inspiration: The ER90C, the 75th Anniversary Traditional model and the Custom Shop CS Classic. The guitar features the bracing and design elements of the 75th Traditional, the rosewood back and sides and matte finish of the ER90C, and finally the thinner body depth of the CS Classic.
The result is a guitar with a small body and a full tonal response that sounds like a bell. There's no shortage of bass despite the thinner body depth - the body is 10mm thinner than the 75th Anniversary body - as the depth is offset by the incredibly rich bass produced by the rosewood back and sides. The more compact body also provides a little more focus to the front of the guitar, making it a brilliant recording instrument.
Visually, the ER90 Traditional borrows its look from its older brother, the ER90C, which features white binding, a mahogany neck, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, and an ebony headstock. The mahogany neck provides tone and stability, and the ebony fingerboard and bridge add a bit of brightness to the top end to complement the rich bass of the rosewood back and sides.
This Maton ER90 is a beautiful guitar suitable for all playing styles, from fingerstyle to strumming, and of course it is equipped with Maton's brilliant AP5 Pro pickup system, making the ER90 Traditional absolutely unbeatable on stage!
Der ER90 Traditional von Maton ist eine Kombination aus drei Inspirationsquellen: dem ER90C, dem 75th Anniversary Traditional-Modell und dem Custom Shop CS Classic. Die Gitarre verfügt über die Verstrebungen und Designelemente der 75th Traditional, den Boden und die Zargen aus Palisander und das matte Finish der ER90C und schließlich über die geringere Korpustiefe der CS Classic.
Das Ergebnis ist eine Gitarre mit kleinem Korpus und voller Klangwiedergabe, die wie eine Glocke klingt. An Bass mangelt es trotz der geringeren Korpustiefe nicht – der Korpus ist 10 mm dünner als der 75th Anniversary-Korpus –, da die Tiefe durch den unglaublich satten Bass ausgeglichen wird, der durch den Boden und die Zargen aus Palisander erzeugt wird. Der kompaktere Korpus sorgt außerdem für etwas mehr Fokus auf die Vorderseite der Gitarre, was sie zu einem brillanten Aufnahmeinstrument macht.
Optisch lehnt sich der ER90 Traditional optisch an seinen älteren Bruder, den ER90C, an, der über ein weißes Binding, einen Mahagonihals, ein Griffbrett und einen Steg aus Ebenholz sowie eine Kopfplatte aus Ebenholz verfügt. Der Mahagonihals sorgt für Klang und Stabilität, und das Griffbrett und der Steg aus Ebenholz verleihen dem oberen Ende etwas Helligkeit und ergänzen den satten Bass des Bodens und der Zargen aus Palisander.
