De 012-28 Modern Deluxe is een nieuwe kijk op de vintage Martins van weleer. De 12-fret gitaar zit boordevol aangepaste functionaliteiten die je moet zien, voelen en horen. Daardoor is deze compacte en stijlvolle Martin allesbehalve standaard.
Vintage details omvatten het sparren bovenblad met VTS, een zwaluwstaartverbinding van de hals en een natuurlijke lijmconstructie waardoor de gitaar de rijke, volledig gerijpte Martin-klank krijgt die generaties heeft geïnspireerd.
Enkele ultramoderne functies zijn onder meer Liquidmetal-brugpinnen met rode stippen en een brugplaat van composiet koolstofvezel die het volume verhoogt. Daarnaast beschikt de gitaar over een nieuw nekprofiel dat enigszins asymmetrisch is voor maximaal comfort.

The 012-28 Modern Deluxe is a new take on the vintage Martins of yesteryear. The 12-fret guitar is packed with custom features that you need to see, feel and hear. As a result, this compact and stylish Martin is anything but standard.
Vintage details include the spruce top with VTS, a dovetail neck joint and a natural glue construction giving the guitar the rich, fully matured Martin tone that has inspired generations.
Some state-of-the-art features include Liquidmetal bridge pins with red dots and a composite carbon fiber bridge plate that increases volume. In addition, the guitar features a new neck profile that is slightly asymmetrical for maximum comfort.
The 012-28 Modern Deluxe further sets itself apart from the regular production line with a flamed European maple binding, stylish gold frets, gold open-gear tuners and a unique pearloid inlaid 1930s style script logo on the headstock.

Zu den Vintage-Details gehören die Fichtendecke mit VTS, eine Schwalbenschwanz-Halsverbindung und eine Konstruktion aus natürlichem Leim, die der Gitarre den satten, ausgereiften Martin-Ton verleiht, der Generationen inspiriert hat.
Zu den hochmodernen Merkmalen gehören Liquidmetal-Brückenstifte mit roten Punkten und eine Verbundplatte aus Kohlefaser, die die Lautstärke erhöht. Darüber hinaus verfügt die Gitarre über ein neues Halsprofil, das für maximalen Komfort leicht asymmetrisch ist.
