McNally-gitaren zijn het resultaat van 13 jaar ontwikkeling met als doel de Ierse en Amerikaanse stijlen van gitaarbouw te combineren waarin Ciaran McNally is opgeleid.
Mcnally's Jumbo-model levert een dynamische respons met volle en complexe boventonen. Deze Jumbo heeft een prachtig figured mahonie zij- en achterblad gecombineerd met een Adirondack sparren bovenblad met een sunburst finish. Dit fundament wordt aangevuld met ingetogen maar mooie details zoals de ebano binding, de mahoniehouten kopplaat en gouden Gotoh stemmechanieken.
Dankzij het Adirondack bovenblad produceert deze jumbo veel volume en headroom. Voor een gitaar met een mahoniehouten body levert hij ook een opmerkelijk diep laag en kristalhelder hoog. Dus hoewel hij een uitstekende keus is voor strumming, is hij ook verrassend goed geschikt voor fingerstyle.
