Its Spanish name translates as “The Troubador,” and this wood-body single-cone National has been popular with musicians ever since its debut in 1932.

Deze reissue is ontworpen in samenwerking met de bekende blues- en swinggitarist Mike Dowling. Net als het origineel heeft National's El Trovador een grote, vier-inch diepe body gemaakt van mahonie; een hout dat bekend staat om zijn sonische eigenschappen.
De body is gebonden in meerlaags ivoroid, met een bijpassende purfling rond de klassieke coverplate. Een ebbenhouten toets is gekoppeld aan de massief mahonie hals, die wordt bedekt door een ebbenhouten kopplaat.

This reissue was designed in collaboration with the famous blues and swing guitarist Mike Dowling. Like the original, National's El Trovador has a large, four-inch deep body made of mahogany; a wood known for its sonic properties.
The body is bound in multi-layer ivoroid, with a matching purfling around the classic cover plate. An ebony fingerboard is paired with the solid mahogany neck, which is covered by an ebony headstock.
With its rich, deep, warm tone, the El Trovador is one of National's most popular guitars among troubadors everywhere.
The guitar comes with TFOA passport in a hardshell case.
Diese Neuauflage wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit dem berühmten Blues- und Swing-Gitarristen Mike Dowling entworfen. Wie das Original verfügt auch die El Trovador von National über einen großen, 10 cm tiefen Korpus aus Mahagoni; ein Holz, das für seine klanglichen Eigenschaften bekannt ist.
Der Korpus ist in mehrschichtiges Ivoroid eingebunden, mit einer passenden Einlage rund um die klassische Deckplatte. Ein Griffbrett aus Ebenholz wird mit einem massiven Mahagonihals kombiniert, der von einer Kopfplatte aus Ebenholz bedeckt ist.
Mit ihrem satten, tiefen und warmen Klang ist die El Trovador eine der beliebtesten Gitarren von National unter Troubadoren auf der ganzen Welt.
Die Gitarre wird mit TFOA-Pass in einem Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
