Goodall Jumbo Quilted Maple Adirondack 2006

Voor deze Jumbo heeft Goodall Guitars alles uit de kast gehaald wat materialen betreft. Met een klankkast van AAA quilted esdoorn en bovenblad van Master Grade Adirondack sparren is deze gitaar een absolute blikvanger. Voor het bovenblad van deze absolute topgitaar heeft Goodall een qua gewicht zo licht mogelijk stuk hout geselecteerd om zo een optimale resonantie te bereiken.

James heeft een bijzondere voorliefde voor de Jumbo-serie. Dit is niet verrassend, aangezien dit de gitaar is die hij vele jaren geleden voor het eerst koos om te bouwen. De Jumbo kan worden gebruikt voor vocale begeleiding, solo- of zelfs fingerstyle-optredens. De gitaar weet zich door zijn fraaie klank echter ook uitstekend te onderscheiden bij elke denkbare speelstijl.

De overige eigenschappen van deze gitaar zijn ook zeker het benoemen waard. Zo heeft de gitaar een binding van curly koa die is afgewerkt met een purfling van ebben en esdoorn, en op het bovenblad pronkt ook een abalone rozet. De esdoorn hals heeft een ebben toets met prachtige abalone en parelmoer inleg en beschikt over een mensuur van 25.5 inch.

Deze Goodall Jumbo uit 2006 heeft lichte speelsporen en enkele zeer oppervlakkige dings op het bovenblad. De gitaar is tevens voorzien van nieuwe Gotoh 510 stemmechanieken, en beschikt ook over een LR Baggs Anthem-pickup voor een uitmuntende versterkte sound. De gitaar verkeert in excellente conditie en wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer van Hiscox.

For this Jumbo, Goodall Guitars has gone all out when it comes to materials. With a back and sides made of AAA quilted maple and a top made of Master Grade Adirondack spruce, this guitar is an absolute eye-catcher. For the top of this absolute top guitar, Goodall has selected a piece of wood that is as light as possible in terms of weight in order to achieve optimal resonance.

James has a special fondness for the Jumbo series. This is not surprising, as this is the guitar he first chose to build many years ago. The Jumbo can be used for vocal accompaniment, solo or even fingerstyle performances. However, the guitar also distinguishes itself well with every conceivable playing style due to its beautiful sound.

The other features of this guitar are also certainly worth mentioning. The guitar has a curly koa binding that is finished with a purfling of ebony and maple, and the top also features an abalone rosette. The maple neck has an ebony fingerboard with beautiful abalone and mother-of-pearl inlays and has a scale length of 25.5 inches.

This Goodall Jumbo from 2006 has light playwear and some very superficial dings on the top. The guitar also features new Gotoh 510 tuners, and also features an LR Baggs Anthem pickup for an excellent amplified sound. The guitar is in excellent condition and comes with TFOA passport in a Hiscox hardshell case.

Mit einem Boden und Zargen aus AAA-Wölkchenahorn und einer Decke aus Master Grade Adirondack-Fichte ist diese Gitarre ein absoluter Hingucker. Für die Decke dieser absoluten Spitzengitarre hat Goodall ein vom Gewicht her möglichst leichtes Stück Holz ausgewählt, um eine optimale Resonanz zu erreichen.

James hat eine besondere Vorliebe für die Jumbo-Serie. Dies ist nicht verwunderlich, da es sich dabei um die Gitarre handelt, für deren Bau er sich vor vielen Jahren zum ersten Mal entschieden hat. Der Jumbo kann für Gesangsbegleitung, Solo- oder sogar Fingerstyle-Auftritte verwendet werden. Durch ihren schönen Klang zeichnet sich die Gitarre aber auch bei allen erdenklichen Spielstilen aus.

Auch die anderen Features dieser Gitarre sind sicherlich erwähnenswert. Die Gitarre hat eine geschweifte Koa-Bindung, die mit einer Einfassung aus Ebenholz und Ahorn versehen ist, und auf der Decke befindet sich außerdem eine Abalone-Rosette. Der Ahornhals hat ein Ebenholzgriffbrett mit wunderschönen Abalone- und Perlmutteinlagen und hat eine Mensur von 25,5 Zoll.

Dieser Goodall Jumbo aus dem Jahr 2006 hat leichte Spielspuren und einige sehr oberflächliche Beulen auf der Oberseite. Die Gitarre verfügt außerdem über neue Gotoh 510-Mechaniken und einen LR Baggs Anthem-Tonabnehmer für einen hervorragenden, verstärkten Klang. Die Gitarre ist in ausgezeichnetem Zustand und wird mit TFOA-Pass in einem Hiscox-Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
