Suhr Thornbucker Neck 50mm Raw Nickel
Thornbucker elementen zijn geboren uit de wil om gitaristen een humbucker te kunnen bieden die alle voordelen heeft van de klassieke 50s PAF stijl humbuckers zonder de nadelen (zoals de prijs). Deze Thornbuckers hebben ook moderne kenmerken: four conductor bedrading, een keuze in spacing, en de consistentie en kwaliteit waar Suhr bekend om staat.
Door de toevoeging van een "Raw Nickel" elementkapje klinkt dit element iets "zoeter" met iets minder hoog. Deze "Raw Nickel" kapjes klinken het meest transparant van allemaal. Omdat deze elementkapjes niet beschermd zijn tegen de elementen ontwikkelen ze, sneller dan een verchroomd kapje, een prachtige natuurlijke "patina".

Suhr has also included a few modern touches: four conductor wiring, a variety of spacing options, and the consistency and quality that Suhr is known for.
Adding a cover to a humbucker will always make it sound a little sweeter, knocking off a bit of top end. The raw nickel covers are the most transparent sounding. They sound very similar to the uncovered pickup, just a bit sweeter.
Please note that because raw nickel covers are not plated, over time they will develop a natural patina, much faster than a chrome plated cover.
