This 2014 Taylor 712ce Grand Concert combines the best of both worlds: the warm, balanced tone of a 00-body with the modern playability of a 12-fret construction. The beautiful Indian rosewood with Sitka spruce top provides a rich, complex tone, while the Expression System 2 perfectly reproduces this natural tone when played amplified.

Taylor introduceerde de 700-serie als hun premium lijn waarin vakmanschap en klankkwaliteit samenkomen. De 712ce vertegenwoordigt Taylors moderne benadering van de klassieke 00-body, waarbij ze de voordelen van een 12-fret constructie hebben gecombineerd met eigentijdse bouwmethoden. Het 12-fret ontwerp, waarbij de hals en body samenkomen bij de 12e fret in plaats van de 14e, zorgt voor een warmere, meer gecentreerde klank en brengt de snaren dichter bij het centrum van het bovenblad voor optimale resonantie.
De combinatie van massief Indisch palissander en Sitka sparren levert een klank die zowel krachtig als genuanceerd is, met diepe bassen en heldere, articuleerde hoge tonen. Het zachte V-halsprofiel en de 15-inch radius maken deze gitaar bijzonder comfortabel om te bespelen, of je nu fingerstyle speelt of akkoorden aanslaat. De Expression System 2 pickup zorgt ervoor dat de natuurlijke akoestische eigenschappen van de gitaar perfect worden overgebracht wanneer je hem versterkt gebruikt, zonder de typische piezo-kleuring die veel akoestische pickups hebben.
Deze Taylor is gebouwd in 2014, en is door de jaren heen regelmatig bespeeld kunnen we aan de speelsporen zien. Zo vinden we op het bovenblad meerdere dings, net als achterop de klankkast. Op het bovenblad is bij de slagplaat ook een hairline in de lak te vinden. De gitaar is op weg om een player te worden, maar klinkt daardoor wel heerlijk los en ingespeeld!

The 712ce represents Taylor's modern approach to the classic 00-body, combining the benefits of a 12-fret construction with contemporary building methods. The 12-fret design, where the neck and body meet at the 12th fret instead of the 14th, provides a warmer, more centered tone and brings the strings closer to the center of the top for optimal resonance.
The combination of solid Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce produces a tone that is both powerful and nuanced, with deep bass and clear, articulate highs. The soft V-neck profile and 15-inch radius make this guitar particularly comfortable to play, whether you're fingerstyle or strumming chords. The Expression System 2 pickup ensures that the guitar's natural acoustic properties are perfectly conveyed when you use it amplified, without the typical piezo coloration that many acoustic pickups have.
This Taylor was built in 2014, and has been played regularly over the years, as can be seen from the playwear. For example, we find several dings on the top, as well as on the back of the soundboard. On the top, there is also a hairline in the lacquer near the pickguard. The guitar is on its way to becoming a player, but it does sound wonderfully loose and played in!

Die Kombination aus massivem indischem Palisander und Sitka-Fichte erzeugt einen kraftvollen und zugleich nuancierten Klang mit tiefen Bässen und klaren, artikulierten Höhen. Das weiche V-Halsprofil und der 15-Zoll-Radius machen diese Gitarre besonders angenehm zu spielen, egal ob Fingerstyle oder Akkorde. Der Expression System 2 Tonabnehmer sorgt dafür, dass die natürlichen Klangeigenschaften der Gitarre auch verstärkt perfekt zur Geltung kommen, ohne die typische Piezo-Verfärbung, die viele akustische Tonabnehmer aufweisen.
Diese Taylor wurde 2014 gebaut und über die Jahre regelmäßig gespielt, wie die Spielspuren zeigen. So finden sich beispielsweise mehrere Dellen auf der Decke sowie auf der Rückseite der Resonanzdecke. Auf der Decke befindet sich außerdem ein Haarriss im Lack in der Nähe des Schlagbretts. Die Gitarre ist zwar noch nicht ganz fertig, klingt aber wunderbar locker und eingespielt!
Wird mit TFOA-Pass in einem Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
